That amount of turbo lag would be fairly scary on the road. Not that that's a bad thing if you're looking for something utterly mental.

They had to get it in the right gear so it wouldn't shift down when they floored it. But after they floored it it still didn't spool until halfway through the rev range. They need to work on that for sure. These car manufacturers are using much smaller turbos but still getting peak torque at freaking 1500 rpm.

Any word on Fords FR___ Race packages? The V8 and 4T Mustangs will be a good alternatives, cost wise, to the 335i and 2-series for production car racing. Especially down here in the Shannons Nationals.

I was just stating that IF that was on a track it'd be scary. It's cool they got that much power but if it's not usable then it's kinda pointless.

Agreed. I understand that SEMA paint has to be over the top but I don't like it. I am shocked that Ford found a ugly set of slicks and skinny wheels when they could have just gone with the classic prostars and been done with it.
