Does that sound like a flat-plane V8? Why else would they tease an engine sound?
 
That RTR video wwas cool. I sure can see myself in a V8again :drool:

 
If it's similar to any (classic) Mustang in terms of overall massing, it would probably be the 71-73 model, in that it's low and long.
 
It looks great and that 5.0 pulls real hard, quick cars for sure. I think this is the best looking Mustang to date.
 
The grille area is about the only resemblance I see
 
Has anyone here driven the new Mustang yet?
 
The only part i'm not sure works well with the looks of the car is the lights on the grill, it looks like a cardboard filled with lights just being wedged on the grill.
 
Considering they got rid of the trailer suspention at the back I might be in the market for this when it comes to Oz.

V8 for sure.

I Haven't. I am waiting for my local dealers to get a EB and GT in manual transmission.

My local dealer got 5 GTs in and that was it. 3 manual, two auto. They had an Ecoboost listed online but not in Stock yet, that's what I went up there to test drive, ended up driving a GT with the Premium package :lol:

Guys, i'm confused here. That Shelby that will be unveiled soon, is it a GT350 or a GT500 ?

Does the GT500 even confirmed to be made now ? Because i've heard people saying that GT500 and GT350 will both be made, there are others who said that GT500 will be replaced by GT350. I've seen a few articles who said that there are 2 different types of prototypes being tested. One is GT350 and the other is GT500. Those prototypes do looked different judging by the bodykits. There are others who said that the GT500 comes out first before the GT350.

Is it even confirmed that the GT350 can rev up to 8000 ? Because what i've seen from the spy photos that the redline is 6250 or 6500 (not sure).
 
No one knows what it is or what it can do. The GT350 name is just speculation.

They started nationwide deliveries 3 or 4 weeks ago.
I saw a couple sitting in a lot a couple towns over.
 
I drove by the local Ford dealer on the way to work this morning and there was a yellow one sitting out front. Might swing by on the way home to see if it's an Ecoboost 6MT.

Speculation, but could be done.
 
It could be made, but would people choose Turbo 4 Mustang if GT was just a little bit more expensive? And would Ford risk losing money when people choose the less expensive ST over Mustang GT?
 
I like the idea, I just don't like the render. I also agree that it would be better off referred as ST over the SVO. Calling that Mustang the SVO now wouldn't make sense.

I'll still take the GT, thanks. Article seems a bit far fetched to me.

So R&T wants Ford to build an ecoboost Mustang with 90+ additional hp, special center exit exhaust, Brembo brakes and the GT performance pack, 3.73 Torsen LSD, 19 inch wheels, plus ST specific aero bits on the exterior, all while weighing less and costing less than a base GT? :odd:
 
I think if Ford wants to build a coupe with 400 hp EcoBoost engine and name it ST, it would work much better if they shrunk the Mustang, redesigned the body and called it a Capri.

I know. Not going to happen.
