Hate the silver grille outline. Other than that:

They boast the handling of this car too. I wanna see how it goes around the track. With 700+ hp, this sounds like the replacement for GT500 lol

Aaaahh... yeah. I didn't remember about that one lol. Sadly, I can't find it. I must have backed it up already.

I think it's in this thread somewhere.

A guy pulled up in a parking lot next to me with a 'GT today..It was at my local dealer last week...He had it for about 3 days and he says he loves it...Had the chance to check it out (real nice guy) and I have to say Im very impressed what Ford has done with it....He said one of the neatest features he found out by accident was that the side mirrors shines the Mustang symbol on the ground at night......Nice touch Ford:cheers:

I think i'd paint the grill black if i had a Shelby GT.

*looks at standard options*

There's quite a few carbon fiber parts on that Mustang and 625hp? Well, I hope it's less wheelspinish than the 2014 GT500.

I was getting interested in the new Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost to replace my ST220, eventually. The more I read about the new Mustang, the less I'm interested in this Ford.
Fuel consumption is one of of the things that made me change my mind.

BTW, it's a good looking car. :)

Went to my local Ford dealer and they are not going to sell the Mustang, ... officially.

Well, that's a shame... So, how can you buy one in your country?

2015 GT with the pipes lopped off.

Something needs greasing at the end there. Flat plane sounds better.

Uhm. Official Ford page says otherwise.

€35000 for the 2.3.
€40000 for the 5.0.

Other Ford dealers in my neighbourhood. But if I choose to buy another Ford, I'd like to buy one from my local Ford dealer where I bought the Mondeo. Their service is perfect.

I said: "my local Ford dealer". Not just any Ford dealer in Belgium.

The "officially" part made it a bit confusing.

Fair enough. I'll try to explain it better. My local Ford dealer is not going to sell the Mustang officially because they don't want to sacrifise a part of their showroom to show the Mustang. The salesman told me that they have to devide the showroom and dedicate one part of the showroom for the Mustang.

Unofficially though, it's possible to order the Mustang at my local Ford dealer but they have to get it through different channels (whatever that means).

UNofficially. :D

I get that, but how...

UK pricing revealed:

Ecoboost: £28,995
5.0 V8 GT: £32,995
http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/2015-ford-mustang-priced-£28995

I was pretty much in the ballpark for predicting the price of the Ecoboost, but I thought the GT would be much more expensive.

Quite, I was expecting something around the £50,000 mark for a GT. Kudos and congratulations Ford, it's actually an affordable V8 muscle car, just like in 'Murica.

...oh, so that's why you said it couldn't buy one in your area, because you dealer won't sell the Mustang there. I guess they don't want to sacrifice sure sales (people who want Fiestas and Focus and do have the money to buy them) in favor of betting on a high risk car like the Mustang. Sad, but understandable.

Guess you have to see how could they provide you with a Mustang then, with those "different channels"...

Meanwhile, we have to pay 35,000€ just for a Kuga 1.5 FWD. I'm expecting over 100,000€ price tag for the Mustang GT, over here.
Wait, recap on me why exactly are cars expensive from where you live?

Taxing. Free health-care, education and full support for unemployed alcoholics, comes with a price.

"Why do you need a sportscar anyway. It's completely normal to ride a bicycle in a blizzard..."
