Is Sunoco the only gas station that offers 98-103 Octane?
Of the few Sunoco stations here I never see anything past 93 on the pumps, but you can get 110 in the back if you ask.

In the back? Is this some old people term?
It's slang for asking the cashier. I'm not sure if that pertains to other Sunoco stations but I know of at least 3 here that offer Blue/Purple but you wouldn't know it unless you asked specifically for it.

There's a Love's truck stop out here that sells race gas at the pump.
That makes me wonder if the local T/A truck stop here sells it. I've never asked nor looked for it. Usually you have to go to the airport or Sunoco station depending on what octane you want.

The more I read and learn about '15 Mustang, the more I want one. Might actually finance one once I get back to US.. And no, not the GT but Ecoboost w/PP and Recaros.. with three pedals of course.

If only cash we got from GTA Online heist can be liquidized into real money....

Why Ecoboost ? I got so used to hearing V8s on Mustangs that hearing the ecoboost version feels weird. I'm sure the car itself performs great but i don't know... I always associate Mustangs with V8s , not that i hate inline engines.

Just like there "never was a V8 for 1974". Wrong. There was a V8 for the Mexican version that year but not for the US. So really every year of production had one.

Yep, nothing wrong here, just a Shelby being awesome. Damm good engine noise, too.

Care to develop why you prefer a manual Ecoboost instead of a V8? Just wondering, that's all, what would be the reasons for buying an Ecoboost over a V8. Fuel economy?

I'd get the Ecoboost just because I like to be somewhat unique. When people think Mustang, they think V8. I like to think differently. ;)

When I think Mustang, I think "Sports Car."

I really don't care what engine is in the Mustang (V6, V8, Turbo4), I'd still drive it.

Easy power mods. Depending of the tuner, just an ECU flash smoothens out the power/torque band after 5500rpm, adding from 20-60bhp and up to 100ft-lbs of torque.. for 500 bucks! Without even touching the intake or exhaust side at all. And seeing that the more powerful Focus RS has different compressor in it's turbocharger, I can see that one making it's way over to Ecoboost Mustang. Of course, there's other factors such as weight distribution of 51/49% for the manual if memory serves.

So in essence, it's the fact that you could get V8-esque performance for less, and with only a few bucks no less. And then there's the Focus RS factor, with its turbocharger, as you've mentioned. The choice of a manual transmission is something I approve to 100%, I still believe in the "proper sports car needs manual stick" idea. The weight distribution is just the icing on the cake...

This is why I dislike modern technology sometimes. I don't want to 🤬 with a computer tune, I wanna change parts!

So I went over the Ford Belgium website and found out the Ecoboost starts at 35,000 euros. Which is only 3,000 more than a new GT86.

Damn and blast!

Darn, 35,000€!? In Portugal, that would mean that the Ecoboost would cost around 5,000€ LESS than the GT86.

(Yes, the GT86 is priced around 40,000 euros in Portugal. When your price matches that of a brand new Peugeot 308 GT SW, you know just how badly constructed your car taxes are...)

If anything, it's good news for Belgian buyers, it means they can get their own 'Stang for barely over GT86 money. Pretty impressive, if you ask me...
