The black car is the 2013 919 prototype, the red car is the 2014 919 and the White is the 2015 919All three are this years cars. Just different coloured liveries

Beautiful KCMG ORECA.

White cars for WEC, 3 colours for LM.Wow, the new LMP2s this year sure aren't joking around in the livery department, huh? The Oreca looks very good, love the blue they they used for the car. But the Dome takes the cake, Strakka really made a black car that looks both good and unique at the same time. And the car itself is already one of the best LMP2 designs of the current prototype season, so there's that.
Also, I'm a bit confused about the "3 shades of Porsche" bit; which colour are they using, again?![]()

It suffers from micro-DP Gen 1 disease in that particular area. Also, I was just looking at that Strakka Dome picture; the cabin looks far different from the usual LMP2 cab, no? Or is that just me?
Yeah, the Strakka cockpit looks as if it's quite a bit further back than in other P2s.
I think it looks that way because the center tunnel is much higher than the Oreca.Ah, so it's their traditional white for WEC, and the combo of black, white and red for Le Mans. Got it, thanks. 👍

Union Flag, not Union Jack.
I wasn't having a go, just a common mistake that people call it the Union Jack.
Sorry to go off topic, but in regards to the Strakka, is it still a union flag if it's not red, white and blue?
They use the reflective chrome on the roofs as it helps keeps cockpit temperatures down (which is part of the rules).
I think he's referring to chrome being integrated into at least half of all liveries at the minute. It's hard to work in properly and it ends up looking tacky.Reflects the sun better, Peugeot started using it on the 908 in 2009.
