Man, sucks to hear that, Nakajima is such a valuable and quick driver.
Hope he has a speedy recovery, poor guy.

Good thing Kobayashi is the one possible to fill in, he is just as quick as Kaz.

I personally think Kaz isn't as good as Kobayashi. Then again, my first impression of Kaz was him plowing into his pit crew when he raced for Williams in F1.

Could be, but I'd be skeptical. Kamui Kobayashi has had one test in an LMP1 car? It would be a miracle if he could perform at the level of Nakajima (one of the very best LMP1 pilots) in his first race outing.

Kobayashi certainly didn't set the world on fire in his first Super Formula race and only finished in the top 10 because of two cars retiring on the last lap. http://superformula.net/sf/en/race/2015/1501/rresult.shtml

In his first race in a Super Formula car. If you did some reading up, his car had a bad start and iirc, the anti stall kicked in. He dropped 2 or 3 places. He ended up being 13th but drove his way back up. Hes had more than one test in the TS040. If you look back, he had the fastest time in one of the qualifying sessions.

hsv
Apparently the Audi was on its out lap, and an LMP2 was behind... couple the spray with the LMP2 moving out the way, he was simply unsighted and had nowhere to go.
It was nothing to do with an LMP2.

Footage from Spa's CCTV and the car's on-board camera has revealed that reports of an LMP2 car moving over for Nakajima before the impact are erroneous.

It has everything to do with an LPM2 car.

I take it you have the circuit CCTV apparently different from everyone elses?

Fair enuf. No Lmp2 car. The Audi must have been going real slow.

Does this make up for what I said? :p

is qualifying shown on any european tv stations or is it wec online only ?

Motors TV if you can get it. I think.

Guys, it wasn't an lmp2 but an LMP1 car! The number 7 to be presise!

Just watched an intevew with oli Jarvis and apparently he let the number 7 past but the 1 car couldn't see and drove into the back of the 8 car!

They only show the races.Il see if i can find a raw tv broadcast feed on my motorised sat dish.i always find the races but never checked for qualifying

"We saw the on-board video of Kazuki. You don’t see anything until the end. He was catching and passing the No. 7 Audi, which you clearly see."

There was another car involved, may not be a LMP2 car but I was right!

The issues of spray and lights are more pressing.

They only have tinly little lights on the ends of the wing. Didnt Toyota have to move ther lights from the sides of the diffuser to the end of the wing?

Nissan have the baffling GTR floor lights on the tail end.

Maybe they should have a mandatory brake light...like something along the lines of an F1 style brake light?

This is the only area where the WEC is going backwards!
