Well, we have our future 2017 LMP2 engines, from a company which hasn't had the best of sucess in current LMP2 competition. At least it's not the obvious pick such as Ligier and/or Oreca. It is however an interesting combination of English powers, if I am not wrong.

Now we have to wait and see who will have the honor of building the future 2017 chassis...

How does the Dome and Strakka Racing fit in then?
Cars designed by DOME when they were still active are still labeled as such, like the F4 cars, but now it's dissolved into Toyota they all go without labels. The Strakka is still a DOME car, it was one of the last projects they undertook.

Extremely happy about Benny, go on mate! :D

The ADESS LMP3 has landed. :P

Marshall Pruett has confirmed its Montoya.

Alright, got it, thank you both for clarifying. 👍

An interesting choice for Endurance if he were to be Porsche's driver, considering that Montoya does not have true Le Mans experience, only his time in North America and the whole Daytona Prototype thing with Ganassi. I wonder how would he fit these newer LMP1 cars, and if he could bring anything that's worth for Porsche...

I really don't see the difference, he has the experience in endurance racing (more so than Hulk did). He's probably going to run just fine.

Yes, I don't deny that Montoya knows his way around an Endurance race, I was just mentioning that this will be his first "Le Mans rodeo", so he is not yet acquainted with all the characteristics of running a 24h race there. Mind you, when he first drove a Champ Car, he wound up becoming the series champion, so my so-called "theory of inexperience" may go down before it can even take off...

If anything, Montoya will likely learn quickly in a P1 car. While he hasn't been in the sort of machinery Dario, Scott and Tony have been in, this will likely take him the least amount of time to pick up (Discounting the long manual regarding the hybrid system).
