Hulkenberg didn't seem to struggle and I don't recall him having much experience prior to the race.

I would love to see JPM give it a shot.👍

Porsche drivers may end up in a battle themselves. Timo's time for pole was beaten at the last second and he was a bit shocked. :lol:

Yes, I don't deny that Montoya knows his way around an Endurance race, I was just mentioning that this will be his first "Le Mans rodeo", so he is not yet acquainted with all the characteristics of running a 24h race there. Mind you, when he first drove a Champ Car, he wound up becoming the series champion, so my so-called "theory of inexperience" may go down before it can even take off...

While Le Mans is it's own special snowflake in some regards, there have and are far more drivers with racing experience under their belt to race and do well at Le Mans, Hulkenberg as I noted compared to JPM could fall under that category, most of the GTE-AM and GT2 or future GT3 drivers. So the idea that anyone is even worried about him getting up to speed, really shouldn't be. I feel there have been other challenges that took him much longer to tackle than Le Mans will.

I just did a parade lap of COTA in my Audi group and it turned into more of a hot lap which was epic! I was taking the turns at full racing speed hitting all the apexes! A few teams from the race today watched our lap too. And it was under the lights!

Glad to hear you had a good time, living dangerously and all that :P

Slightly jelly of you right now....slightly.

Bop hasn't been changed

Well, I was refering to this sort of point, which aarror stated out pretty well;

Exactly, they were complaining about it last round and BAM! they're on pole this round. Pretty funny if you ask me.

Aston were complaining about the current BOP causing their cars to underperform and yet, they have three cars in the first 5 places of the GTEPro class. It's a rather ironic turn of events for what was supposedly an "unfair" balance of cars, no? Well, we'll see if the race itself changes anything about this...

:lol:

Lost it when most couldn't Pronounce Ryan's Last name. And that one guy, I feel like seeing his last name would not help at all in Pronouncing it.
