Rear wing profile from road America last yearWith a wing angle like that it has to be low!
Speaking of Nissan. Harry Tinknell. Now. He competes for Nissan and is pencilled in as one of the drivers in the Le Mans 3rd entry. Great. But he is also assigned to Jota in the ELMS. In my absence has anyone discussed where he will be, and if it is Nissan, who will Jota sign in his place? My feeling it will be Oliver Turvey.
He'll do both. There's only 5 ELMS rounds and 8 WEC rounds, and none of the dates clash.
I think he is referring to the possibility that he might get double booked in 2 cars at LM24,
Jota have already announced their LM24 line up?I think he is referring to the possibility that he might get double booked in 2 cars at LM24,
Take turnsI would think he's doing the 24 Hours Of Le Mans for the third P1 entry.
He is driving a full season WEC entry not the 3rd car. Alex, jucas and that Japanese bloke are driving the extra car!I would think he's doing the 24 Hours Of Le Mans for the third P1 entry.
Ummm he's with Nissan and would have been if they did first two rounds. He is driving a full season WEC entry not the 3rd car. Alex, jucas and that Japanese bloke are driving the extra car!
I don't like how Fox is giving an exact 6-hour time slot for these 6-hour races. No pre-race, no post-race. No information at all for any new viewers to figure out what the hell they're watching, which is pretty bad if a series is trying to grow a fan base. I'll say it again. Fox needs to just drop racing and leave it to the networks that care.May 2 FS1 8:30-11am et then FS2 from 11am to 1pm et then back to FS1 from 1pm to 2:30pm

You must a Am class DVR'r then, +30 min on all live recordings.💡Yes, I recorded the Silverstone race on the dvr and it cut out half way through the last lap! I expect this to be the norm![]()
It is possible the TV time is paid for by the WEC so it would then be up to them to buy 6.5 hrs.Or Fox cant count past 6. Either way it is not ideal but it is better than the terrible 52 min highlight show they aired at 3am last year.I don't like how Fox is giving an exact 6-hour time slot for these 6-hour races. Don't say that!...GT3 itself is more or less the new GT1...
Don't say that!GT1's cursed!
Not being completely serious but usually any class called GT1 doesn't last long...![]()
For those complaining about the Road car relevance, consider this:
The Aston Martin DBR9 run by Prodrive as it turns out was nothing more then a reconfigured Ferrari 550 chassis, the BMW M3 GTR ran a V8 that wasn't even in the regular M3 (which hardly makes the Z4 GTE, a rebodied and detuned GT3 car, not really a surprise) and The Nissan GT-R GT1 ran a V8.
The Point? GT in the modern era (and to a degree, throughout history) has NEVER been 100% true to the road car so the whole waivers argument and how "Its not true to the Road car" needs to stop. Hell, GT3 itself is more or less the new GT1 just with a cheaper price tag and a more massive appeal. One driver ( I believe Butch Leitzinger to be specific) said the Bentley drives more like a Prototype then a GT car and this is coming from someone who for years drove Prototypes.
No they don't.EVERY gte car runs with waivers.

Dear Holden
Thank you for your email. Having spoken to a member of our Motorsport division I can confirm that this is not true.
Kind regards
