They should add the same tracks that the Xfinity runs in terms of road courses, and 2 more superspeedways. Perhaps one more Daytona, and another at Dega.

and Eldora.
I'd be ok with Superspeedways if they'd actually enforce whatever witchcraft Jr uses.

Even if its Jr every race, the races do not get more exciting than Daytona/Dega. 3-4 wide, 200mph, everyone is in it.

Oooh ooh, and add an extra Auto Club race!
But 3-4 wide to me isn't exciting if it's because the side-draft keeps everyone from passing eachother. 2012 Talladega is what NASCAR should shoot for with Superspeedways.

Tandem Drafting? Or Tony Stewart sidewinding into the pack? lol
I usually try to enjoy races for the racing itself, but when your favorite driver is performing this badly or gets hit by bad luck, it's painful to watch. Absolutely atrocious to see your favorite driver get crapped out week after week, especially when he has a chance to run up front. :yuck:
Welcome to the Tony Stewart fan's world. May I get you a coffee?

  • Force the cars to be symmetrical (Both on the sides and the front and back are the same height)
  • Very low downforce everywhere (Only aerodynamic piece allowed is a spoiler smaller than the Kentucky package this year, no shark fins or splitters)
  • Very soft tires that grip more than now but wear way quicker and more than now
  • Loosen rules to allow innovation

If you'd ask me, id Spec everything.

Keep the shark fin; That's for safety to prevent lift.

Don't forget air conditioning, pit road speed limiters, and speedometers that actually work. And something about smaller fields at tracks like Bristol. It was infuriating when the leaders would hit lap cars and one car ges seriously crippled because of that

If they could add more pit stalls and competitive cars, I would want to see 50 cars at Bristol.

No air conditioning beyond what they currently have, it's fine as long as there's proper airflow (Which there will be because of the low downforce), no limiters and speedometers because it rewards drivers skilled enough to avoid it, and as for field sizes make qualifying a 1 hour open track where the top 40 make the race, everyone else goes home

Neither, 4 wide racing that isn't manufactured to do so. THIS is what we need.

The easiest way to accomplish this is run a package and have an accident that causes the death of a legend in the sport at the previous Superspeedway race and then change nothing about the package

The racing was not the problem. A lack of a HANS, an open faced helmet, and lack of SAFER barriers was the problem.

Never said it did, all I'm saying is to get that level of timidity when running Superspeedway races, you'd need to have someone die at the previous Superspeedway

Wow dude, really? Could you kindly be less closed minded about it? I didn't say run those exact cars, I said this is the kind of racing to shoot for.

I said run a package, not run that package
"The easiest way to accomplish this is run a package and have an accident that causes the death of a legend in the sport at the previous Superspeedway race and then change nothing about the package" Yup, you're right, you didn't say run that package, doesn't change the fact your previous 2 posts to me and @nascarfan1400 were the most closed minded, unnecessary posts I've seen in a while. Do you realize how difficult you are to talk to?

EDIT: Let's just get back to NASCAR please? I don't want to argue over something so childish.

That would be amazing. The early 2000's races at Dega were so good. And I still to this day miss that sound. :)

While the early 2000's races at Talladega were good, nothing in my opinion can top the mid-90's races:

2-3 wide racing, the big packs; but also the ability to pass without bumping and more importantly, the ability for cars to line up and break away from the bigger packs so we don't have repeats of Daytona in recent years. 👍

Edit: Harvick's primary sponsor is shifting from Budweiser to Busch starting next season.

Budweiser will not be on a car for the first time in over 30 years as Busch Beer will be on Kevin Harvick's car starting in 2016.
