There isn't a single driver in the sport that has just one sponsor for the full season.
Target sponsors every race for Larson, and did the same for Montoya for several years. The races where Target isn't the primary sponsor, the company that gets the primary placement (Axe, Clorox, Energizer, etc.) is one of Target's associated brands.

Jimmie Johnson gets Lowe's/Kobalt for the whole year.

And of course, Haas Automation and Denver Mattress sponsor the #41 & #78, since the car owner is also the sponsor.

Menards is also the primary for the #27 for the whole year.

Larson: only Clorox and Energizer are part of the Target deal.

Johnson: I thought he was still doing 1 or 2 races with his foundation but this appears to be the first year that he isn't in a while.

Bayne: Roush usually has Fastenal on all the cars at Charlotte in May. They haven't announced that, yet.

Kurt Busch: State Water Heaters for one race in October.

Truex: That team is currently looking for new sponsors.

Menard: Quaker State for 14 races.

So I was wrong. There are 3 drivers currently that have a single sponsor for the entire season (Johnson, Bayne, Truex Jr). I could easily have been an 🤬 and said I was right about there not being a single driver with just one sponsor but that's not what my phrasing was on that post.

Any sponsor that pays for at least 30 races is considered a full time sponsor in my mind.
We're not discussing full-time sponsors. The subject is drivers that have just one sponsor. Unless Mears runs 3 races without a sponsor, then he currently doesn't factor in to the group of drivers with one sponsor since there are 3 races yet to be sponsored.

Even when the JJF is on the car, Lowe's is still on the hood. I was under the impression that Lowe's still paid for the race, but allowed Jimmie to put the JJF on the side of the car as a sort of charitable contribution in their name. I'm sure that if it's possible, Lowe's finds a way to write it off on their corporate taxes.

Just like the 78 car, I think every team is always looking for new sponsors.

78 is different. They want a new sponsor for the 78 so they can expand their team to a second car, not just because they want more money from sponsors.

GoDaddy claims they are leaving NASCAR because they are done expanding their brand domestically, and now want to expand their brand internationally. What are the odds that Gene Haas can convince them to sponsor his upstart F1 team?

No way in boogeyland (or this universe either, FYI) is she getting another sponsor. Her contract is up, her performance has been so unbelievably awful that its literally become a source of attention in and of itself. How is that grounds for a full or even partial season deal?? however, she could reemerge in an NXS team later on as a one-off, but effectively her NASCAR career is over. Goodbye and good riddance.

Would that be anywhere near funkytown by any chance?

Danica to F1  (sarcasm)

She wouldn't last a full season before getting kicked out if Haas was ever that stupid in the first place. But then again, Pastor Maldonado still has a full time ride........ Now to the upcoming race at Talladega, here's what I believe to be some of the best races ever at the track that you can view if this weekend's events get boring:

Also included but not posted due to possible server meltdown and subsequent ban for life: 1989 Diehard 500, 1993 Winston and Diehard 500's, 1994 Winston 500 *my personal favorite*, 1996 Winston and Diehard 500's, 2000 Winston 500, 2001 EA Sports 500, 2009 and 2010 Aaron's 499's

Roush leads both practices today at Dega. Doesn't really mean anything, but it's good to see them fast. They could get a win here and get a car in the chase

Brad Smith just had a terrible crash at the ARCA race, thankfully hitting a safer barrier instead of a solid concrete wall. He hit a car, then went full speed into the inside wall with the front wheels airborne.

Edit: He has gotten out of the car walking on his own power

I turned on the Xfinity race just in time to see Chase Elliot blow a tire.

Jeff is clearly not happy with the fact that it happened during green flag pit stops.

Well, it does seem as if the drivers forgot how to green flag pitstop.
They certainly did forget how to green flag pitstop. You would have figured that they'd remember to get in line a few laps before pitting, but that clearly wasn't the case.

Who was the white car behind the 39? Almost looks like he shoved the 39 into the 18 which caused it.

On the road we call this action: Failure To Stop.
