That was an awful wreck. It's probably a good thing that they didn't have a great replay view of it. Just the sight of the dirt being kicked up behind the retaining wall, and then the engine lying on the track afterwards was surreal.
Not a good replay view but it's evident exactly what happened in the wreck, although not who hit him. A lap by lap position chart could help determine it.

When Carl Edwards spun Brad K as payback, the car went roof first into the safer barrier. No doubt he could have been seriously injured if it wasn't there.

Was David Reutimanns California 2007 hit to a safer barrier? last major COY hit I remember.

That was awful. When they went to his incar and he was slumped over the steering wheel, I thought he was dead.

Fire strikes Leavine Family Racing shop

Glad to hear no one was hurt, always tends to concern me when fire is involved. In fact, we've hearing about fire a bit too often the last few weeks.

Anyhow, I'm watching Practice at Kansas and they showed this:

I've seen that video 2 times too many on TV now.

If that was normal race commentary, I think I'd be off the sport quickly.

They showed it twice? I only saw it once today

Probably more than twice. I think it was originally on TheBuzzer show, whatever that is. It was shown on RaceHub, and then practice today.

Edit: Brendan Gaughan doesn't have a sponsor for the Cup race. ...I never thought I'd see the day....

BKR trucks just took each other out in qualifying. Mostly because Tyler Reddick can't drive without spinning it.

Edit: Even more surprising: JWT managed to avoid getting wrecked by them.

Very quietly announced. The new dev team took the assets from NASCAR 14 and just made an updated roster for it, so it's not exactly "new". Next year's game will be the one to look for.

I'm willing to bet based on the released that the Coke 600 is when it'll be officially shown on TV.

Other than possibly being on the 20 in the Xfinity Series that weekend, I doubt it gets any marketing.

If I recall, the last two games debuted on a race weekend close to their date so I'd think the same will likely happen. Of course, I'm sure it'll be on the 20 car in a NASCAR race, otherwise that's madness if it doesn't

What channel is it on??

EDIT: NEVERMIND, BASEBALL OVER-AIRED IT.

Turn to the race and the first thing I here mike say to the pit reporters:

"Are you ready, kids?"

Dammit, Mike

One BK racing car couldn't bring out the caution so the other one decided to finish the job the first car started.

And to no surprise, the dynamic duo makes it to the front.

Bringing Kautions Racing?
The irony in that is that I had (but deleted before I posted it) part of my post saying that the team should be renamed to CC Racing for Causing Cautions Racing.

Love how they were interviewing Truex and then the pan the Camera around left, there's Larson and Hamlin just hanging out in dark

The memes related to this race take me bCk to my childhood so much:

"David Regan spins in the infield...

...at night!"

Also, mother of god is Erik Jones moving full steam ahead. ROY confirmed, whenever he's eligable.
