Ok. I know just with this win, he cut it down from about 176 or so to 137 so I was curious on how much would each additional one help.

Nice, they even have the old tickers on there as well. Nice touch NBCSN, reminds me why I'm looking forward to the 4th of July 👍
 
I was watching a little of the 2004 Ford 400 deal on NBCSN just now. My only takeaway so far was that I miss Dodge in NASCAR. I am mostly a Chevrolet guy, but more Mopar, please. MOAR Mopar! At least it was great having Chevy, Ford, and Dodge in the series. As we say... "those were the days."
 
Hmmm. The footage hasn't aged all that well (though that's to be expected when what was in 240P gets stretched to HD).

Does reminds me unfortunately of something else I miss: Benny Parsons :(
 
Oh sure, RACECAR. While I'll miss Larry Mac in today's NASCAR coverage, it is still sad Benny Parsons is no logner with us. I probably miss this the most about the NBC/TNT NASCAR coverage of old.

Neat! Watching the 2003 Ford 400 right now. Jimmy Johnson having problems, Jimmy Spencer and Johnny Benson leading, Bill Elliott and Sterling Marlin racing, the trio of Bestwick/Dallenbach/Parsons, McMurray's paint scheme, good times! 👍
 
Nothing like seeing the good old days when NASCAR coverage was actually good and not dreadful.

Weird, its been 12 years since I've seen this race and I still winced when seeing the tire blowout on the 15.
 
Damn, 2003/2004. Rusty Wallace, Sterling Marlin, Joe Nemechek in the #01, the old #30 AOL, #31 Cingular... Harvick driving in a Goodwrench scheme... Damn, back in 03, 04 and 05 I only played NASCAR games, I still didn't fully understand what was NASCAR, but for some odd reason I miss some of the things NASCAR had in those days.
 
My parent-teacher conference for Kindergarten was the day of this race, and I just graduated High School 3 days ago :lol:
 
2002 Brickyard... Oh my goodness, 2002 was one of my favorite years in terms of Car Bodies, paint schemes, and the fact that Tony won the championship was just the cherry on top. Definitely watching that one!
 
It's weird. All of the renders I've seen for it look... off. Maybe it's just because I'm so used to people making crappy versions of it for NTG, NR, iRacing, etc...

Because all the renders for it have been awful. The video I posted looks like it came out of an NR2002 or NR2003 mod...
