Also has the benefit of not being pushed aside for Sportscenter or Fox Sports Live immediately after the race ended.

Which is already great. See, NBC appears keenly aware they won't be ESPN so they instead are doing their own thing. Fox Sports on the other hand, well you just showed one example of how delusional they are in thinking they are ESPN.

Yeah, not digging that. They just copy and pasted a name into a completely different show that tries to mimic the original. If it would've had a different name, it would not be as much a problem.

I'm wondering why he even still has a job. He was fine as just a person doing the interviews for NASCAR Live and the like, things like this do not work for him. He's not at all the same sort of personality that can go from being deep to being funny like Will Buxton can.

Rutledge is a dork. He is funny to listen to, fun guy to have give interviews, and a good way to boost ratings during rain delays. He should NOT be in charge of a documentary. He can't even get Top Gear Right.

I hate night races, it starts at 12:45AM on a Monday morning. And even worse it's a restrictor plate race so I can't sleep through it and catch the highlights tomorrow. Damn national series' aiming their races at their target audience :banghead:

And you're new to this?

I'll be flipping between NBC and Fox since I want to watch both the NASCAR race and the Women's world cup final. Naturally, I'll miss something when I flip to the other one because things always happen when I don't watch something.

Weather doesn't look good in Daytona tonight.

Which is why NASCAR used to schedule the race for 10:30 A.M., to try and beat the guaranteed pop up thunderstorms that occur in Florida during the afternoon and evening hours this time of year. 💡

Beats having to wake up at 5AM on a weekend to catch an F1 race like I do. Obviously, it's much better when F1 has to cross the Atlantic. :sly:

Pop up storms are common a lot of places this time of year. They happen here any time of day.

Besides, night races are cooler to watch. :P

Can vouch for that, up at 5am today to go the few miles down the road to Silverstone for the F1, really hoping the race tonight is not delayed, not sure I'll stay awake, currently 00:17am, seeing a wet track is not promising.

I had no idea that Kyle's injury was so bad, his bone was sticking out of his knee :ill:

And even with that, he was more concerned about his Wife seeing him then...that.

That's what a compound fracture tends to cause, although that's the first time I've hear of the bone protruding through the knee.

First for me too. Though when you hear Kyle describe how the footbox shortened so much, you can sort've imagine (at your own peril) how that could cause it.

Looking at the current radar, the track's right in the middle of a rain band and it's not moving fast. If I was a betting man, this race's not happening tonight.
