I'm just trying to figure put why the pic crew didn't push him back into the stale, they just kinda stood around looking at him. Gonna wait for Radioactive for this race, can't wait to here Chad flipping out over the radio. Lol.

Two weeks in a row that Harvick's run that thing dry.

EDIT: Sympathy for the #48? With all the snotty comments from his "fans" on Facebook, I'm gonna howl every chance I get.

CAAAAWWWWSSSSDHHHHHUUUUUNNNN!

6 Championships in the last decade means he gets no sympathy from me

That reaction was totally unexpected.

;)

They still need an actual air conditioning system either way. It's inexcusable to be driving for that amount of time even 130+ heat.
so true! In fact, they even have AC in Sports car racing. Completely inexcusable that NASCAR hasn't implemented this

Some days, I wish that I still had tickets to the August MIS race. This time, I'm glad that I don't have them. Glad for the winner, but the aero package produced a crap race.

NASCAR should run the low downforce setup everywhere except the plate tracks, but that'll never happen because of the "MAD T1T3 DRAFT1NG YO!!!!!!111111" mentality.

Sorry if I missed an earlier explanation, but what was the point of the new aero package? Where the cars going to fast?
Maybe I missed it but all I heard was people complaining about it, not giving a reason why it was put in place.

I didn't think the racing was that bad in the 2nd half of the race.

Anyhoo, SHR will be holding a press conference tomorrow, possibly to announce the new primary sponsor for Princess Sparkle Pony.

It puts a smile to my face to see that name still in use.

They wanted closer racing and super-awesome-drafting.

They missed it on both. Maybe because there was just too much drag to overcome.

Somewhat, yes, but they never have enough cars in test sessions to properly replicate racing conditions now.

Edit: I forgot the text that Danica included with the picture above....

Sneaky peaky!!!!! See my announcement tomorrow at 11 onhttp://nascar.com/presspass!

Peak anti-freeze is most likely going to be the sponsor announcement.

It's supposedly someone new to NASCAR though.

Edit: According to Jayski, it's a company called "Nature's Bakery".

So the race was as boring as I thought it would be. Glad I chose to instead look at some Gentleman's Literature then watch it, I pretty much had a feeling it would be worse then Indy. Its the first race on since NASCAR came back to NBC that I missed, which is sad because the coverage is such an upgrade over ESPN and TNT. Now I just pray their idiotic TV execs don't do more BS that they did with that stupid show no one cares about (at least I don't).
