I know that it probably will never happen, but I'd love to see Dale Jr. run a throwback to the GM Goodwrench colors that Sr. used to have. That, and the Wrangler livery (which again probably will never will happen after he won that Daytona Xfinity race with the livery a few years back).

There are very few teams that AREN'T running a throwback paint scheme as of now.
1, 13, 18, 19, 20, 24, 26, 30, 34, 35, 40, 47, 62, 78, 83, 98.

26, 40 and 78 are running special schemes but unrelated to the theme.

Did any of you see "NASCAR America" earlier today with that onboard lap of Cale Yarborough going on a hot lap around Darlington? And did you also see the retro firesuits? Like I said before- unless the 2015 Southern 500 becomes some snoozer, this is going to be such a fun event. It may be as fun and as unique as the first Mudsummer Classic. I'd check into this race even if you aren't a NASCAR fan.
