NASCAR missed it's chance on the NBC F1 crew. They run circles around any crew NASCAR has put together in the past 15 years.
THANK YOU JESUS I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO SAYS DIFFEY, HOBBO, AND STEVE AREN'T THE BEST DAMN CREW IN THA LAND!!

EDIT:

But naw, NASCAR gotta have it's good ole, southern, slow, and down right stooopid anunciaters...

I personally enjoyed NBC's old Bestwick-Dallenbach-Parsons combination. Professional with a good dose of humor, especially in rain-delayed races.

With NBC's current trio, I'd rather have the F1 crew take over. Also, give Kyle Petty a ride so I don't have to see him talk.

Inevitably its NASCAR's fault, and theirs alone for the whole thing.
This is correct, and it is a direct consequence of the "Boys, have at it" era, plainly seen in 2012 when NASCAR didn't park Gordon when he deliberately wrecked championship contender Bowyer. The top drivers live by a code. They lose respect in the garage when they don't retaliate against the driver who wrecked them.

Accordingly, it will be interesting when NASCAR renders its verdict. Do they really want to signal a change in policy? NASCAR is commercially founded and must make money. If the fans and the media love this sort of racing, well at least the cars and walls are much safer than they were 15 years ago.

If you're a little uset about the live stream not having sound, I found you a good youtube video to put on in the background!

Perfectly matches my feelings of seeing these cars being taken apart.

"What we want to prevent happening is drivers or anyone participating in NASCAR to take events into their own hands and control outcomes of races," France said. "That's a very serious thing to us, and we'll be dealing with that."

The Harvick picture makes the post because of the Talledega incident. That's just pure gold there.

Whatever Kenseth's fate is today, for me, the best thing NASCAR can do is admit that this happened because they let it get to this point. Acknowledge that first then say it's not going to be tolerated anymore and do whatever to Kenseth. Without the acknowledgment, it's just an empty suspension/fine or whatever. I think the fans deserve to hear the real reason stuff like this happens. I think people would respect that.

There's possibly going to be a LOT of anger in this thread if kenseth dosen't get parked. If i recall back in 2011 during texas chase week they parked rowdy for the entire week after this incident:

I might be mistaken but I think due to the appeals process, if they were to appeal the decision, they probably can't really park a driver until the appeals are lost and I think it may have been Joe Gibbs himself that decided not to appeal and parked Kyle. Not really sure.

To be fair, Kenseth technically was parked for the weekend after he wrecked Logano, the weekend just happened to only have 50 more laps. The most that should happen to Kenseth is what happened to Gordon in 2012, 100K 25 points and probation till the end of the year.

Well i can tell you if NASCAR does suspend kenseth, the appeal from JGR will surely by very interesting

Should NASCAR actually have a proper appeal, Kenseth will win because there's no precedent. Same reason Tom Brady got out of Deflategate

Or maybe just put Jones in the 20 for the suspension since he currently has the best shot at taking over the 20 when Kenseth retires out of the current crop of young Gibbs drivers.

Jones did surprisingly good in the 18 at kansas when busch was still recovering. so that would'nt sound as a bad idea if it happened

I agree. Kenseth is like top 3 oldest guys out there. Gordon is gone in 3 races and Tony out at the end of next year. Kenseth is right there in age. Wouldn't be a bad idea to give Jones some seat time if there is a suspension.
