I think Kenseth is the oldest one out there of the the full-time drivers.

Scan all 43 is on NBCSN right now, presumably at 5 once NASCAR America comes on will be when the penalty comes out
 
If he does get a suspension, he should just take it and not appeal. Unless they can get an expedited appeal process.
 
From what it sounds like from the Frances and others, I don't think there will be an option to appeal. If they are going to set a new precedent, they'll look like the biggest fools to only go back and give him lesser punishment..

The NFL really shouldn't be used as any sort of context, as they are extremely more corrupt internally than NASCAR.

NASCAR is on a simple enough level to understand how stupid it would be, and how much of a mockery would continue afterwards if the such is to happen. I foresee a firm fine, a possible suspension, and slap on writs to all drivers at the minimum.

Maximum is JGR takes a huge fine for letting it continue through the past few races and escalate to the point it did, and all other drivers get slap on wrists..

True, but if what they are trying to lead up to is "this big", then I am expecting to see what I predict.
 
I'm not disagreeing though. If they want to stop this, then they need to drop the "Boys have at it", drop promos of crashes and fights and set an example.

And yes, everyone of the drivers calling out Kenseth for his retaliation and calling it bad need to go look in the mirror because they've all done it at some point in their career.
 
I don't really like him as a NASCAR commentator, nothing against him personally it's just I'd rather him stay in F1 primarily

Really? There's absolutely no bias with him at all, and it's more than obvious with the current commentators.

In F1, he doesn't really care two cents for popularity of someone or how well they are doing, everyone gets equal attention, and that's something that rarely happens now other than big names..

Exactly, and F1 needs that more since there's less cars that can win week to week. NASCAR has a greater percentage of the field that could win week to week so focusing only on them isn't as big a deal as it is in F1

Not really... They pay gap in F1 is immense..... I mean it's HUGE.

In NASCAR, it's a publicized sport, meaning the most TV time equates to more people willing to sponsor such drivers.

In F1, the cars are the same, yet different. There is only so much you can change externally, but all the internals are what makes the cars competitive in different classes. The funding majorly affects this, and the outcomes of such races.

In NASCAR, the bodies are the same, and the internals are the same. Just about the only difference is what color you'd like your gauges to be. What's left is what mechanics and engineers are able to do. The data they get is only good as the engine they prepared in testing and practicing, and those who don't have enough funds to do so suffer greatly from it.


TL;DR:
F1: Corrupt pay scales
NASCAR: Sponsorship goes by TV time...
