Which means Logano will be in massive odds now. I don't feel too bad for him. I don't agree with Kenseth, but I hope this gets to a point where they both get thrown in the dog house.

"NASCAR suspended Kenseth for wrecking a chase contender" - Nate Ryan.

So... elephant in the room here... WHY NOT JOEY AT KANSAS?
Exactly my question. Hell, why not suspend Danican't for what she did? This is worse than Brian Barnhart in IndyCar, and I never thought I'd see someone top that.

It was sarcasm, I can list atleast fifty other races better than that.

So do it, what's stopping you
Dale Jarrett could run circles around Gordon any day of the week, Gordon is 10x worse when it comes to wrecking people.
What does Gordon have to do with any of this?

The incident at Kansas was clearly a racing incident. Just two guys racing hard for the lead. Kenseth blocked Joey one too many times and they touched. I don't see how Joey 'purposely' wrecked Kenseth at Kansas.

What happened last weekend on the other hand was clearly an unessesary and extreme form of retaliation from Kenseth. He purposely slammed Logano into a wall. If anything, NASCAR made the correct decsion for this penalty.

Or trying to find excuses...

I'm just a bit confused here...

A driver out of chase can't wreck a driver in the chase, but a driver locked in the chase can wreck a driver that's trying to make the next round of the chase?
I think they're focusing more upon the aspect of Matt had nothing to gain out of this, and Joey had it all to lose.

Now, saying that, I can expect flak from what you just said. They were still both in the chase, and Matt had the option to let Joey go by and in the next four laps to come back at him.

Blocking for 5 laps is a bit ridiculous no? Surely the blue flag would've came out had he kept it up much longer.

It's NASCAR being hypocritical as always. Harvick and Joey "did nothing wrong" by directly altering the outcome of the previous round of the chase, but now it's the worst thing ever.

Yes, Kenseth took it a bit far, but that doesn't make it any more worse than Harvick intentionally wrecking half the field to keep himself in the chase, or Joey bumping Kenseth and taking away his chance to make the next round of the chase.

At no point will a blue flag ever come out for a race leader. I thought we covered this.

I agree with this... but it's just NASCAR being NASCAR..

I don't agree with it however.

Because no one gave a **** like they did with Kenseth
TV time like I said... David just doesn't have what Joey and Matt does..

Also, how does Danica not get a worse penalty than she got? She actually announced her intentions to take out Gilliland.

Because she embarrassed herself in the process and that should count for something.

Maybe because they were banking on her making an ass out of it and failing like she has the past 3 years.

You may not agree with it, but that's how it's been since the beginning really. If you're leading, why the hell would you surrender the position?
