You are proving the statement "You cant fix stupid" correct. Have a good night buddy. Its 2am here, and seeing you've been posting your garbage here all night, its probably safe to say you don't have a job to go to in the morning
That's fine, go ahead and make false accusations about other people, go ahead and post crap unrelated to the thread, because the more you do that the quicker you get banned and the less crap we have to deal with.

Why is it that every damn year, there just has to be that one pain-in-the-ass guy that shows up in this thread?

Seriously, why do you even post here if you hate NASCAR so much? What use do you have here if all its for is just to bellyache the hell out of it all the time?
I (sadly) thought that it was a GTP tradition that having an ICEYOU replacement in the thread was a requirement for this thread to exist every year....
Every NHRA event I've been to has packed the stands.

Admittedly not much else happens near Norwalk

Not needing pit passes to walk around the pits is also an advantage for the NHRA. It's a major factor in why my dad stopped buying NASCAR tickets at MIS and buys tickets to the Norwalk NHRA race instead. That being said, trying to leave Summit Motorsports Park was honestly one of the worst things that happened in a while . It took an hour and a half to leave the damn parking lot (the handicapped lot no less!) and another hour to even get past the track once we got on the highway. That was the first and only time we stayed for the entire show. I'll never do that again.

I love how he hasn't once commented on the fact that he's likely been banned twice. And no one here would be upset if it happened again.

Almost always during the chase cycle too, which goes to show NASCAR just how crazy the system is

He said while posting at roughly 2 in the morning and making it a point to acknowledge that fact. So maybe the person you're replying to was doing so from their place of work, or they had the day off, or they're a light sleeper.

Case in point you're proving that assumptions tend to make an ass out of someone. So how about dropping the childish accusations and acting like an adult?

That shouldn't be too difficult.

I actually did have the latter two.

Well I guess we found that young driver with talent. Ryan Blaney should be in contention for some wins next year with the Penske alliance. I'm sure someone will find a way to say this too is a negative post

Actually, no. This is actually somewhat agreeable. If they keep him, they should be okay.

Maybe teams were running qualifying setups and Gordon decided not to and instead dial in their race setup

One can hope.

@GTPorsche says it was rain shortened as well. (Jayski didn't mention that, or I missed it)

Kyle was 16th I think, Truex and Harvick were 3rd & 7th respectively.

Don't forget... we have NASCAR at Homestead-Miami this weekend. Final race of the season for NASCAR's top three Touring Series. With a lot of the discussion going on right now, let's not forget there is still some racing to go. Trucks are qualifying as of right now at Homestead. Jennifer Jo Cobb currently on the point.

And again, good luck to all drivers and teams this weekend at Homestead, and congratulations to all champions.

I'd like to thank @GTFan24 for the link to the stream from last week. I was able to watch Truck qualifying through it at work. Thank you.

No problem man , i do like to warn that the streamer usually starts watching "gold rush" after the nascar coverage ends for the day

After truck qualifing was over it cut straight to NASCAR America and looks like Cup qualifying is coming up next.

Okay, so as unlikely as it may be, what would happen if all 4 contenders were taken out in a big wreck and all 4 couldn't continue? Would they go to wins throughout the year? Most laps led during the race? It would really bring out the stupidity in the gimmick

Anyone who gets the car patched together to run minimun speed, or even run a few slow laps, similar to what Crafton did last week in the truck race. Remember, this race is based off of finishing position. Three contenders could fininsh 41st, 42nd, and 43rd, and all the other driver would have to do was finish 40th to win.
