Safety car coming in after what felt like an eternity. I was hoping Hamilton would finally overtake the safety car and the whole field would follow suit.

Race start !!! Several cars in pit.
 
The fact that teams are already planning inters shows that it is not nearly wet enough for a SC start.

I'm the last one who would call for more danger in motorsport. I always thought that driver saftey has the highest priority, so I was happy that they finally did something to protect the driver head from flying debries with the Halo system. But look at the pictures, those aren't unraceble conditions.

It's still quite wet on the old pit straight side of the track... Be very tricky on the intermediates
 
This is getting beyond a joke...

10% of the race wrecked and almost as unsafe as just letting them get on with it.

They're paid millions for the risk they're taking. Danger is part of this sport. If they don't like it they should race shopping carts.

The danger is inherent within the sport. Minimising excessive risks shouldn't be a question. It's the 21st century.

Half of the field is already swapping to inters. Without even doing a full lap on wets. The safety board is a bit too careful today.

The SC was definitely out for too long - but only by one or two laps. Cars are still aquaplaning and the track is much better than it was not too long ago.
 
I cant believe how much oversteer we've seen with only one spinout
