But those who aren't more often than not come here to see what happened. And commentary is still technically discussion. There has never been a problem with it as far as I know, until you brought it up last week.By the way friendly reminder before the start, we don't need commentary in the thread, we are all watching it.
Not everyone is able to watch it, and I like that I can go back through threads and follow the events of the race afterwards. What else is this thread for?By the way friendly reminder before the start, we don't need commentary in the thread, we are all watching it.
How about all 3 Mercs to really mix things upGet rid of that Merc with the lights. They're paid millions a year to take risks. This is bleh.
If it starts raining again, will they hold the british GP the next day or week or will they just call it and say what ever you qualified is what place you finish?
Fuel consumption. Why not do a couple of warmup laps to get rid of the puddles and then have a normal start.
They could red flag it then try to restart it during the summer break.
But that's not racing. That's stupid. I hate this whole "MOAR DANGER11!!" attitude - when there's a ton of standing water that's yet to be cleared, you need to clear it before you can race. That's called being sensible.I'd rather see them race while going 50 kph on a wet track than going around 120 kph behind the safety car.

This is the point the SC should be coming in - I think the majority of the standing water has been cleared and the spray looks manageable.
