Yeah cause every team has their hand on a CNC machine when they cross the Atlantic, with the idea at mind that they may need to make bigger restrictors after already having the smaller restrictors made and shipped from hope. Cause finding a CNC machine local and having it done a day before the race isn't at all last minute...

If anything the ACO should have rectified the issue by getting them those restrictors

The two most common changes made for bop are weight and restrictor changes. I am just saying with that in mind and that teams experience I would think they would have and handful of sizes with them for just such an eventuality, especially for this race! How to you figure it is the ACO's responsibility to supply teams with parts?

They quickly covered that bit with a lastic cap to hide something. Audi #7 also inside the garage.

I don't wanna jinx it b-but...

Again, what happened to the Porsche and Audi? They're all appart in the garages, it seems like major repairs!

Eh the Audi is out but still, I didn't see it when I got back to watch it amost half an hour ago.

#98 Aston at Porsche Curves facing the wrong way.

You're literally expecting the teams to have sizes on had .1mm difference in various sizes... Do you not realize how unrealistic that is? Especially in a race where pre-race BoP changes are quite unheard of, and this was a rare occasion this year especially due to the fact they're trying to balance NA vs Turbo.

Because you put four cars in a position that they have to find time and a place that will Machine their parts very last minute, the ACO screwed up, they knew this hence that last minute change. But then the issue becomes now it's on the teams to find the ability to make the parts they were never expecting to need (for the reason above). Least the ACO could do is provide ease of access to the service, for it was the ACO in the first place that made this massive error to read the data when the first BoP was applied.

Can't believe how long it's taking to fix the illuminated numbers on the Porsche. Should have just duct taped a couple of torches above the numbers!

Is this definitely what the issue is? I've heard rumours it's a ERS battery change.

I won't deny that I support Audi but isn't the point of LMP1-H to innovate? By completely changing the formula, Audi has innovated a hell of a lot more than Toyota or Porsche...

Where have they innovated?

They have merely "tried" to innovate by creating something that does not work. You could compare it with the Williams FW26.

Audi leading once more.:lol::lol:

They have cut back on the flashing lights on the safety cars. Few years ago the safety Audis had lightbar, headlight, tail light and grille flashers.
