All Audi's after upgrades end up looking wierd at least. While I agree that the Audi is ugly, it's always a question of taste, but at the end of the day a race car has to be reliable and fast and not aesthetic.

Porsche and Toyota managed to make both faster and better looking cars though.
There was a last-minute adjustment to the BoP which the 'Vettes were unable to fully exploit. Are we not going to talk about how the Corvettes are underperforming? I mean compared to the Fords and Ferraris, they're just plain struggling.
What could I say, the're getting screwed in the media box and the racetrack. Atleast they are more reliable than the Fords. Maybe they'll find speed in the night and morning but its looking a bit tragic so far.Are we not going to talk about how the Corvettes are underperforming? I mean compared to the Fords and Ferraris, they're just plain struggling.
Toyota just looks totally boring
Thats BoP right here Just like PP in GT useles! Are we not going to talk about how the Corvettes are underperforming? I mean compared to the Fords and Ferraris, they're just plain struggling.
Well that was a nice little nap, I guess I missed the day/night change by about an hour![]()
The Toyota just looks totally boring and the Porsche has the ugliest headlights I've ever seen on a LMP car, which is quite an achievement...
I'd say none of those three will ever win a beauty contest but at least Audi had the balls to try out something radically different by adding some open wheeler DNA to their aero package.

Audi are simply a bunch of tryhards with the new R18.
I know how it is, as a long time tifosi I have been screwed by bop many time over the years. I have to say however, as a factory backed effort with their experience there is no excuse for not having the proper restrictors on hand. Also I never find fast cars boring!
this triggers me
This, and I'm an Audi fan.I smell Audi fanboism here.
Audi are simply a bunch of tryhards with the new R18. They made things overcomplicated and shot themselves in the foot.
Think how bad it would be if the Fords and Ferraris didn't get BoP'd post qualifying. It would have been like a 8 sec differential per lap. I'm upset as well but it's a long race and Corvette has proved the fastest car doesn't always win. It would have helped if Corvette had the proper .3mm air restrictor as well. Are we not going to talk about how the Corvettes are underperforming?
