Oh look- another good green flag run in the truck series ruined by the damn caution clock.
 
Bayne - Won segment 1
Biffle - Won segment 2
Larson - Won segment 3
Elliott and Patrick - Won fan vote
 
All Star Qualifying cancelled. They're showing the heats again so heads up to anyone who either missed them or wants to watch them again.
 
I'm not remotely interested in the All Star Race at this point, since DiBurrito didn't make it. Gonna skip this race (First cup race I've willingly skipped that I can recall)
 
So buggeration on the qualifying, which is an utter shame as that usually gives the big show a run for its money in terms of holding attention.
 
Yeah, I love the format for qualifying. I honestly think they should do it for every race. Gets the whole team involved, not just the driver.
 
Im having flashbacks to an awful Super Bowl halftime show. These guys are so bad I think they usually play county fairs

Syke! Well I'm only watching because I have nothing else to do :lol:, just got back from Dinner and I found a stream for it relatively easily, so may as well watch

They're going to hold him 1 lap.

Personally stuff like this is why I don't like all of NASCAR's shenanigans with race and championship formats.
 
It's the All Star Race, if any race should be tinkered with it should be this one where the only reward is 1 million dollars

I'd have eliminated him. It's dumb that the penalty doesn't effectively have more consequences. They were trying to be cute like Burton so many years ago. Except Jeff did it legally.
 
At this point, he needs to stay out just to trap as many other cars down one lap with him as possible.

The penalty was immediate. They didn't get that choice.

They shouldn't have enforced the penalty until the segment was over. That was a really odd set of circumstances that led to this.

Could have been a black flag. I'm pretty sure that the penalty would have been worse had he waited.

Kahne wins race off pit road, gets himself penalty for letting tire get away.
