Looked like Hamlin gave up the lead at the hairpin because of how he took it earlier in the lap. Very classy. (Unless it was just a mistake).

Trust me, and most of us that have watched this series for a while. Denny didn't give up anything...he's not that classy

Great finish last 20-30 laps were great, I feel Junior could have had a finish

Wheelhopped and locked the front brakes because of it. Tony had him beat there without needing to hit him but that only further sealed it.

I just came back from eating to see that finish. What epicness to see Smoke pull it off. Hoped Jr. could pull a miracle and win at a road course for once, but this is a more than acceptable finish.

Excuse me while I react to todays finish at Sonoma...

Holy crap what a finish! Best race at Sonoma I've ever seen!
He's basically all but in the Chase now! He's still gotta stay in the top 30, but I don't think that'll be a problem.

On a sidenote: NBC next week!

That is officially right up there with the 500 for the best finish of the year.

NO MORE WALTRIPS FOR 2016 !!! Something we can all agree on

Yep. Right until the next Truck race

I am as excited as you all are about the finish to the race at Sonoma. All congratulations to Tony Stewart on the win. Something told me Denny Hamlin probably wasn't going to keep Smoke at bay in the late laps. Getting roughed up a bit won't help your winning chances, either. Except for maybe wanting a cleaner finish, that final lap was incredible.
