Jones might have had a shot if the #01 hadn't been in the way. I just find it funny that Austin Dillon needed to move a few cars out of the way just for a top 5... in the Xfinity series. That's not saying a whole lot.

I just looked at the comments on NASCAR's Facebook page because they put replay of Ty Dillon being clipped by Alex Bowman. The most liked comment so far I saw? "Am I the only one who laughed at that?" I guess people don't like Ty either.

Just saw a replay of the Bowman and Dillon incident. I'd say that Dillon didn't give Bowman a lot of room coming out of turn 2, but from the head on shot, it looked like after he (Bowman) got the car pointing down the straight he just veered left taking out Dillon. I'd say it was Bowmans fault and that it's hard to say that it wasn't intentional.

If he kept racing, he'd have been in the Cup series most likely.
I agree. I feel like he definitely would've had a respectful career. Maybe not as successful as, say Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart, but decent nonetheless.

Yeah, he would've definitely revived the Petty name. It's depressing in many ways. Great person, and his career and life were cut way too short. :( What could've been... :nervous:

So depending on when Jr returns (At indy or after), either he'll make his 600th start with Matt Kenseth or he'll make it after Matt Kenseth.

That'd be pretty cool if they had their 600th race on the same day.

Awww Bowman's subbing for Jr.

Logano can hear a mic from the race track :lol::lol:
