...and Edwards drops to 5th after that pit stop. If it's like other races, he's going to drop like a rock.
 
I remember back to the start of the season, the general consensus was that Blaney and Elliott would both win races this year as super rookies. As it is the only rookie winner is Chris Buescher, didn't see that one coming.
 
The #48 doesn't look too good now on new tyres and with that new wedge adjustment.
 
Unless something happens, this looks like Kyle Busch's race to lose, despite pitting under green out of sequence.

I'd be astounded if Chase doesn't win at least once next year. Not convinced Ryan is ready to break through, though; could use some more seasoning in Xfinity and/or mentoring from Brad and Joey.
 
The defending champ is 40+ away from back to back.
 
Carl Edwards just passed Harvick. His long run car is coming in and he's closing in on Logano.
 
Carl is starting to run the Kyle Larson line.
 
So what happened to the #43, besides being utterly useless?
 
Yeah this looks like it'll be a straight battle between Edwards and Busch now. Johnson looks out of it now and Logano is just hanging in the background there.
 
If Carl and Kyle get to racing hard, Joey can reel them back in.

Edwards has gapped Busch but Busch is slowly reeling him back in.

I think we can rule Johnson out unless a miracle can happen.
 
Barring some calamity, it's going to be one of the JGR boys.

If I had money, I'd bet a caution will come out. Cars have not run this long all day.
