Start of the race, I was leading in my fantasy league! Everything was going well. I was happy. Then Vickers had an axle problem. But I was still happy. Then Carl Edwards, and Chase Elliot crashed. This killed my Fantasy picks for today. And I was sad...

Fantastic race tho... Was surprised by how well Ryan Blaney did...

Edit: Wait Danica finished on the lead lap!?

Maybe he realizes his job security is going away slowly.

Also amazing.. Danica Patrick finished on the lead lap.
Career accomplishment for her. Also she finished ahead of Vickers (who was 10 laps down). Also an accomplishment.

"I wonder what thish fanger gesture means?"

I really thought when the #9 changed to the #44 that the "wonderkid" would take it. But he instead has chosen to disgrace the #24.

That "wonderkid" has been in the Hendrick Development program for at least 5 years. Have you even heard Jeff Gordon in the broadcasts, he could not possibly be more happy with the choice Rick made. Jeff made the 24 famous so he is the only one who should judge who uses it now that he's retired.

Emphasis on the word "crash". See you all next week.

As if to imply the 24 never crashed when Gordon was driving it.

I have a feeling it's a bit too easy for people to dismiss legit complaints as bitching.

I, for the record, have a problem with each and every already successful Cup driver doing the lower series, however Busch just conveniently happens to be guilty of it more than anyone else, having wasted good rides for the majority of the schedule for over a decade now. I don't understand why even the Cup championship didn't get him to back down.

Considering he's only been in Cup since 2005, I believe I can point out some else that more or less WAS worse:

Keep in mind the talent pool in 1993 wasn't as deep as it is today.

Jeff Gordon's first 3 races in 1993.

Daytona 500 Start: 3 Finish: 5
Goodwrench 500 Start: 28 Finish: 34
Pontiac 400 Start: 8 Finish: 6

Chase's first 3 races this season.

Daytona 500: Start: 1 Finish: 37
Folds of Honor 500: Start: 24 Finish: 8
Kobalt 400: Start: 13 Finish: 38

It had a good field that year. I'd say when people like Allison and Bonnet died then the crop didn't seem to pick up until the late 90s early 2000s, which (time flies) are still the cream of the crop today.

Ever since KHI was shut down, he's toned down his appearances a tad though, "only" attending less than half the schedule now. Meanwhile Busch just keeps trucking on...

This is after he's competed in far more races that series (2008 being the last one with him winning that championship) between KHI and RCR before NASCAR finally put in place that rule about running only one series full time.

Point I was trying to make though is that the overall bitching seems the loudest when its Busch despite that looking through the stats, Harvick has made by far the most starts in that series from 2001 to now as a full time cup driver in comparision to Kyle.

If the lower class regulars can't beat a sprint cup regular the'll get run over in Cup and be mid 30s racers like most of them end up anyways. Xfinity would fold without Cup drivers.
