And now for an actual race-related question: What are the top 5 Daytona 500 races of all time in your opinion? Mine in order:

1. 1979 Daytona 500- zero explanation required in addition to being a great race
2. 1976 Daytona 500- greatest 500 finish of all time (no Kanye jokes please)
3. 1998 Daytona 500- Seeing Dale Earnhardt finally get the win after 20 years of trying is enough of a reason.
4. 1993 Daytona 500- why won't NASCAR go back to this rules package? Cars could pass almost unassisted and run in 20-30 car packs, yet still had the ability to line up and break away from each other.
5. 2001 Daytona 500- Obviously overshadowed by the finish and lap 173 crash, this was actually a great race to watch due to the rules package which produced 49 lead changes and long periods of packs running 3-wide, 8-10 cars deep.

1. 1998- Dale Sr. winning the 500 after trying for so long.
2. 1979- Amazing final lap.
3. 1997- Dale's actions after flipping in the race and Jeff Gordon winning the 500.
4. 2007- Amazing photo finish.
5. 1994- Sterling Marlin wins after a tense battle in the closing laps.
 
So rumor has it that everybody's favorite super aggressive Canadian F1 Champion will be in the 32 this year in Cup for the road courses now that Boris Said has retired from NASCAR.
Think the song lyrics sum up my thoughts on the situation

theorangecone on twitter was posting about it a few days ago. Said there would be news about Landon with the 40 and 38. I know it's a parody account, but it's definitely someone with knowledge of the dealings in the sport.
 
I trust Cone because he is on the inside. Not going to say who he is but his resume speaks for itself.

Kentucky is getting a repave, and turns 1 and 2 are getting some extra banking to make the track a bit different.

As much as I hate repaves i actually don't mind it this time. And increasing the banking in 1 and 2 should be interesting. So a flat 3 and 4 and a more banked 1 and 2. This change is gonna make the track very unique in my opinion.
 
ISC making a actually useful decision (apart from SAFER Barriers)? Did hell freeze over?

The 40 from 2012 is unrelated from the 40 in 2013+ but yeah, Jay Robinson is where teams go to die.
