Can someone please explain to me why the 10 car just randomly decided to join the sliding cars in the grass?

Anyway, I've played enough Gran Turismo to know how this was gonna end as soon as people started darting about at the end
I think she slammed the accelarator 100%, as silly as that sounds.

How does Danica even have a ride at this point? She has to be throwing as much money out the window for car repairs as she brings in from sponsorship!

Hate to see that for Matt. Looked like he got a slight bump by the #95 and it moved him right up into it.

By the way, look out, 4 BK Racing cars in the 500. Wreckfest confirmed.

The people on nascar's reddit thought kyle caused that wreck... my brain hurts of stupidity right now :banghead:

Well... they arent wrong. I mean, Jamie got sandwiched, Jimmie was just getting a run, and Kyle was just trying to defend. Nobody fully at fault tbh

Care to explain? as indicated, it sounds a bit silly so I need some background

And yet she had all that space to avoid it.
Like she let off the gas to let the wreck clear, but then she gunned it and spun the tires.

Keselowski had a whole tri oval and he still slid into Dillon. Oil in racing is like ice in traffic.

EDIT - Apologies for the double post.

My dad has a model of the C5R that he and Jr. drove in the Rolex 24 just a couple weeks before that fateful day. It's one of his most prized models out of all of the ones he has. It's surreal to see the picture of him and Jr. on the podium at the Rolex 24, and seeing both happy (second in class, fourth overall) a mere two weeks or so before he was killed on the same race track that he was having the time of his life on. My dad deliberately taped every race from there on that year. He flat went nuts when Jr. won the July race at Daytona. That (and Harvick's win a couple weeks after he died) really helped NASCAR heal.

I've always wanted the Fellows, Earnhardt, Earnhardt Jr. C5R, it'd complete my collection as well.

What happened to Mears that he didnt get enough fuel when he pitted ?
Not a Mears fan at all, But I was impressed with his run tonight.

That's what it looked like to me, She seen everyone racing back to the finish line and gassed it on an oiled up track and lost it.

They pulled the can out a second early.

So they wrecked a bunch of cars, but the #26 gets the last spot over the #35 because the #93 finished ahead of both. Therefore NASCAR goes back to last weeks times to fill out the field. Makes sense

NASCAR stopped making sense to me when they introduced "The Chase" and started giving laps back to cars under caution all of those years ago.

Tonight begins the epic long grind between mid-February to mid-November. Whether you love or loathe NASCAR, the new season begins in anger starting tonight with the Trucks at Daytona. NASCAR is ready to rock for 2016. The action will soon begin across all levels of NASCAR in America, Canada, Mexico, and even Europe. Let the journey begin.

Good luck to all drivers and teams across all levels of NASCAR. Race hard, be safe, and have fun. Put on a great show.

Now I've got twins

Crafton's got a pretty cool splitter camera on his truck. Pretty much as low to the ground as you can get. A really cool angle with it is when he's right behind someone and you can practicly see underneith the truck infront.

Really cool to see how much the suspention compresses in the turns.

Caution for #44.
