I think I'd rather just have Dega be the cut-off race before the Chase. No driver on the Chase bubble going into Richmond has ever ended up winning the championship, save for Tony Stewart in 2011. Even then, Tony wasn't battling to be 15th-16th in points like the last couple of years

More like 25th-28th? :p

It's interesting, which is more than can be said about some of the paint schemes this year. I like it

Apparently the hat merchandise for Chase's Throwback has appeared on HMS' store website:

When did Brian France become Brad Keselowski? Although it would explain a lot of things.

They're gonna introduce the new format during race hub in a few minutes.

Edit: Darrel Waltrip just said that Jimmie Johnson is a latecomer...:sly:

I'm sorry, I'll stop.

They can change the format of the All-Star race all they want, but it won't make a difference as long as the prize is "only" $1 million.

I want to create a candy company named Earnhardt's Candies. I expect to be sued.

She is going to sue you for even thinking about it!

I can't wait to see what JGR brings to the All Star race. I forget what year it was but probably 4 or 5 years ago they brought some sort of experimental engine and nobody could touch them until they blew up one after another. No points on the line. Perfect time to test something experimental.

This would be great

NASCAR All-Star Race Format Generator
98 laps
Round 1, 14 laps: Drivers' spotters are randomly selected fans
Round 2, 2 laps: Only green flag laps count
Round 3, 44 laps: Car swap
Final Round, 38 laps: The no-spoiler segment

Screw the first 3 rounds I want to see 98 laps without spoilers, but Nascar shouldn't let them practice without, just throw them in totally blind. I'd watch the 🤬 out of that.

I don't know why, but when Abreu tagged the wall, the first thing I thought of was the stupid Safelite jingle. The second thing was if they'll consider replacing body panels too.

Jokes aside, Rico's day has already gone south and the race just started.

Double post, but Parker Kligerman just took a shot into the wall after JWT hit him while trying to correct his own truck.
