Gotta admit, that is the most badass I've seen Townley ever. Jim Ross would love it
That was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. If you think you're good enough to take someone out and then literally fight them over it, then you should actually know how to bloody fight! They were hugging for god sake!

I didn't think those were punches at first, and then he kept doing it. Damn. Didn't look like Spencer even gave a ****.

Honestly, that fight reminded me of those movie fights where it starts as a regular fight but ends up being a love scene.

On a serious note, I hope NASCAR punishes the crap out of Townley as crap like that only furthers the redneck stereotype.

It was like when two wrestlers are together and they pause and you can hear them saying "and now do this..."

That's how you know it's real and not to fetch ratings...but they did allow it to go for quite some time, so I wonder
The fact they were allowed to get close to eachother without officials 'at the ready' to break up any push'n'shove is what had me suspicious from the start.
I don't know either of them well enough but it's almost like they're mates & said let's pretend to get rowdy to get some exposure for our sponsors. For Spencer to just take those punches without returning serve :odd:

Get ready for some lefts and rights... and I'm not talking about "Fight Night" in the NASCAR Trucks race last night at Gateway. I'm talking about the lefts and rights of Sonoma Raceway in the FOX finale of NASCAR Cup TV coverage for 2016. Got to love road racing!

Good luck to all drivers and teams today at Sonoma.

I like the Fox coverage.
If sarcasm, 👍.

If you're serious, what do you think is good about it? I like Mike Joy and Jeff Gordon as commentators and the camera angles but that's about it. The Waltrips get on my nerves, there's hardly any side-by-side for the constant commercials, almost zero criticism (nbc sports has criticized nascar when it's needed), 720p feed, FS1 being expensive to get for some providers, poor promotion of the sport, etc.

Edit: I forgot about the terrible Xfinity and truck series coverage.

Truex right on Hamlin's bumper.

As for Fox, at least they're better than TNT and ESPN/ABC. That and Jeff has been a good addition, IMO.

No sarcasm.

The Nascar butt kissing I can agree with. However, I've always liked the Waltrip brothers and find them entertaining in the booth, as well as Mike Joy, Larry Mac, and Gordon has done alright this year. The side-by-side doesn't really bother me, as I usually fast forward through them anyways. My provider (and all major ones in my area) offer FS1 in HD as part of their basic or mid-level packages, but I could see how that could be a problem for some.
