Tony's crew chief brought him in early because he heard the chatter on the official's channel about debris on the track. He figured they couldn't win the race without taking a gamble somewhere to gain track position.

That's pure brilliance when it works out like that.
But muh conspiracies

@Blood Eagle @GTPorsche

Oh ****. Hope he's gonna be okay :s

I think I'll watch the 2001 Pepsi 400 tonight. Considering its been too long for me to remember anything from it. I think it's cool they are airing these classic races again.

Heads up! NBCSN has this "NASCAR Throwback" thing going where drivers are using social media to discuss this past race. The deal here is the 2001 Pepsi 500. 2001 still saddens me in NASCAR since we lost Dale Earnhardt Sr. It's also great to hear the late Benny Parsons also.

One other thing I forgot to mention about this recap of the 2001 Pepsi 500- Dodge in the field. I still would like to see a Chevrolet vs. Ford vs. Dodge vs. Toyota deal each race in today's NASCAR.

DW in the beginning was fine, maybe even a little better than BP in the beginning. The reason he's not as good now is that he's gotten 15 years older, and the cars have changed drastically, twice, since he last drove them competitively, so he can no longer relate as much to his driving time

Yeah but the same can be said for BP and Ned Jarrett and he's not even half the commentator they are.

Im gonna go full 2001 mode here:

Aww Jeff with issues, there's NO way he will win the championship now :(.
