Supposedly NASCAR's looking into making it so a failed post race laser inspection doesn't advance you in the chase

Post race inspection is kind of a joke. I'm not saying that Newman's car wasn't illegal last week but there was clear damage to the rear from hitting the wall or something. It doesn't make much sense that it would pass laser inspection after track damage. He had to go to the back for unapproved modifications so maybe they put illegal parts on it but just kind of silly a car has to pass a laser after a race.

I am in love with Chase Elliots scheme for tonights race. Before it hit the wall just now 🤬

Hearing from #18's radio that the #78 was too fast in the pit.

Also, NASCAR's mobile app has free audio, dashboard, and on-board cameras for this weekend only.

I don't think he's in the top 30 in points. He also hasn't attempted to run every race.

I betcha if he did though NASCAR would give him a retiree waiver because they give those waivers out like they're business cards.

Please let the #23 find 9 points. (Sorry, but a team 29th in points doesn't deserve to be in sooner than a guy in 17th.)

Calling it now, #38 will return to the garage again to get the #34 in.

11th caution out for the Dinger. This is getting good. Everybody is running outa tires!

I'm predicting alternator or battery failure this time.

Why would the 38 go back behind the wall? The only car further behind him is Blaney, and we're past the point of Blaney being able to make enough laps to pass him.

They're currently ahead of the #34. If they go behind the wall, the #34 effectivly passes them, practicly gifting him points against the #23.

It's a good tactic, but it feels incredibly cheep IMO.

The 38 is in 38th position, 30 something laps behind the leader (The lap that the 38 & 23 are on as well), him going behind the wall accomplishes literally nothing.

It would keep him from passing cars like Kenseth.

Last time NBC showed the points, the 38 was ahead of the 34. I could be wrong, and the points may have shifted again; it's been awhile since they showed them.

Kind of suprised they haven't shown them every caution. Usually they're shoving them down our throats during this race.

Okay, which Penske driver will send Kenseth over the edge this year?
