Suddenly the Lions losing to the Titans earlier in the year doesn't look so bad.

Going for two didn't work between the Dallas Cowboys at the Pittsburgh Steelers today. Credit the toughness of Pittsburgh, but those missed points ended up costing them the win with the visiting Dallas Cowboys. I don't know... did the Steelers think they were the University of Oregon Ducks or something? Did they think this game was a real-life video game? It wasn't a good day if you're a Steelers fan. The game was entertaining, but either the Steelers should have converted more of those two-point conversions or settle for extra point kicks. It just came back to bite Pittsburgh hard in the backside to miss this many opportunities after hitting paydirt. Folks, this is what we call something backfiring on you, and the missed two-point conversions backfired on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Dallas won 35-30, and the Cowboys have now won eight straight games to improve to 8-1 on the season. Had the Steelers converted their two-point opportunities, they would have won (either 40-35 or 38-35 in favor of the Steelers, if I am not mistaken). But instead, they failed. Someone on Twitter even said that the Steelers deserved to lose for the poor two-point conversion attempts. Dallas even went for two once or twice after a touchdown, and even they failed. It was still a great game.

Bengals at Giants TONIGHT!

In the shadow of New York City and in New Jersey, the New York Giants were getting ready to play tonight. Along the way, the 5-3 (and 2nd in the NFC East) Giants looked across the football field and noted some ferocious cats. Who dey? The Cincinnati Bengals. That's who. Cincinnati's cool cats arrived in the Meadowlands with a 3-4-1 record and 3rd in the AFC North. GTPlanet's Dolph Drago and Angel hope their Bengals can take down the Giants in Metlife Stadium. Let's find out who wins this one tonight.

Are you the betting type? I'll have you know that the New York Giants are favored by 0. 47.5 is the Over/Under for this game.

If you'll be watching this game, enjoy!

I just realized that the Lions have the lead in the NFC North. I never thought I'd see the day that the Lions would lead the division. I'm also shocked that the Packers are so mediocre at this point of the season.

The Bears are really making sure they get a top 5 draft pick. Kyle Long is out for the season and Alshon Jeffrey just got suspended for 4 games due to violating the PED policy.

I don't know what the heck that was yesterday when the Packers were at the Tennessee Titans. I know my Texans have to play at the Packers and at the Titans later this season, but I was expecting more when the Packers were at the Titans. The Vikings have mostly fallen from grace after their surprising success to start the season. The Chicago Bears are... the Chicago Bears. So... I guess when everybody else stumbles in your conference, one team has to pick up the pieces. And at least in the NFC North, it's the Detroit Lions. The NFC North may simply come down to Detroit vs. Green Bay.

Bengals at Giants still on deck as of this post.

So the Bengals failed? I saw the score on Twitter- 21-20, New York Giants over the Cincinnati Bengals. Giants with the same record as my Texans: 6-3. Cincy, meanwhile, fall to 3-5-1.

Bengals are at a weird point. People want to blame Marvin Lewis for it, but there's a lot of problems this year. The lack of Hue Jackson as offensive coordinator, an aging defensive and offensive line, a pretty mediocre defensive back squad, up til now a lack of Tyler Eifert, and you have a team in very unfamiliar and very lacking ground. And our division has the hardest schedule in the league right now. Whoever gets the division title will be lucky to get 9-7.

Bengals schedule with everyone's current record.
Week 1: @ New York Jets (3-7)
Week 2: @ Pittsburgh Steelers (4-5)
Week 3: vs. Denver Broncos (7-3)
Week 4: vs. Miami Dolphins (5-4)
Week 5: @ Dallas Cowboys (8-1)
Week 6: @ New England Patriots (7-2)
Week 7: vs. Cleveland Browns (0-10)
Week 8: vs. Washington Redskins (5-3-1)
Week 9: Bye week
Week 10: @ New York Giants (6-3)
Week 11: vs. Buffalo Bills (4-5)
Week 12: @ Baltimore Ravens (5-4)
Week 13: vs. Philadelphia Eagles (5-4)
Week 14: @ Cleveland Browns (0-10)
Week 15: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-5)
Week 16: @ Houston Texans (6-3)
Week 17: vs. Baltimore Ravens (5-4)

Our record so far has been against some of the best right now. Games like Washington and the Giants should have been wins, but we'd still be 5-4 with those two.

This is now Week 11 of NFL Football. Here are the major matches this week...

* THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL WK. 11: NO Saints at CAR Panthers
* SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL WK. 11: GB Packers at WAS Redskins
* MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL WK. 11: HOU Texans vs. OAK Raiders (game played in Mexico City, Mexico)

So this week, we got football in the United States and in Mexico. I think this is the first-ever time my Texans will play a game outside of the United States. It should feel like a home game to us considering the diverse Latin American community here in Houston. But, Oakland is the "home" team for this neutral site game. I sure would love for Houston to knock off Oakland. The 2016 Raiders are not a clown show or weak sauce. Texans got to step up like never before if they want to win this one.

Anyhow, enjoy the new week, NFL fans!

[OMISSION] This Monday will the first time the NFL has played in Mexico City since 2005. I kind of remember that game in Mexico that year.

A lot of people are saying that Jared Goff will start for the Rams. This will be interesting.

Time to start Week 11 of NFL Football. The fun this time around begins up in Big D. The Carolina Panthers host the New Orleans Saints. Who'll win this one?

Good luck to your favorite team(s) this week.

[UPDATE] I hyped up the WRONG GAME!!! I had BAL at DAL as this Thursday Night's game instead of NO at CAR for Thursday Night. Serious error on my part! Changes made.

And by the way, CAR won 23-20.

I'd say I'm shocked that the Lions decided not to show up against the Jags so far, but we're talking about the Lions so I'm not in the slightest.

I'd say this is a cool story. The Detroit Lions became the first team in NFL history to have its first 10 games of the season decided by seven points or less. The Lions won against another pack of cats- the Jacksonville Jaguars. The cats from MoTown won at home 26-19. Jacksonville have now lost five straight games. Detroit also have engineered six 4th Quarter comebacks so far this season, which I also read is a first in NFL history. The Lions are now 6-4 on the season, tied for 1st in the NFC North against the also 6-4 Minnesota Vikings.

Meanwhile in Cleveland... the poor Browns lost 24-9 to the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers. Dead last in the AFC North losing to 2nd Place in the AFC North.

How about the other Ohio team- the Cincinnati Bengals? Well, they lost at home 16-12 to the Buffalo Bills. Even worse for Cincy is that A.J. Green had to be carted off with an injury. He'll be out for a number of weeks. My best wishes are with A.J. Green in recovering.

Dallas is still ballin'. SecretAgentZero's Baltimore Ravens fell 27-17 in Arlington, TX. You almost sort of imagine what it would be like if Dallas won on Opening Week. We'd then be talking about the *undefeated* Dallas Cowboys. As a Texans fan, that would make me sick. The Cowboys still have only one blemish on the season so far.

Congratulations to all other winners from this Sunday, including the eventual winner of Green Bay at Washington tonight.

Glad to see the Bills show up for the fifth time this year. Playoffs possible if McCoy stays healthy and Sammy actually plays a game.

It really was weird seeing a Bills game on Fox.

Yeah it was. But it's their third game on Fox this year; San Fran, Arizona, and now Cincinnati.

They're also 3-0 on Fox. They should play on Fox all the time.

Get ****ed.

Listen to all those Dolphins fans in the Coliseum. Beautiful.

Nugent another 2 missed PAT's today for the Bungals. We lost by 4. Had he hit just one of those, we could have at least had a chance of a late field goal to tie it. But no.

Also, Green injured his hammy and had to be carted off. Our season was toast already anyway, even with the rest of the division struggling this year, but it still sucks.

Our offense was *okay* in the first half, scoring two touchdowns. We were held scoreless in the second half. Fun Bengal fact of the day: We converted a third down on our opening drive in the 2nd half. We didn't get another until our final drive. Even so, somehow it was still close at the end.

Texans vs. Raiders TONIGHT!

In vogue tonight is the AFC as the AFC South leading Houston Texans will take on the AFC West leading Oakland Raiders. Apparently, this match is too good for the United States that this one will be played in Mexico City, Mexico. The altitude is about 7K feet above sea level (2K more than Denver). It may be easy to get lost in New York City, but try finding yourself in massive Mexico City! Tonight will be the first NFL game in Mexico since 2005. Houston is the "Away" team though Houston is much closer to Mexico City than Oakland. I don't know about Oakland, but we have a very deep Latin American community. Game-wise, the 2016 Oakland Raiders are no clown show or tomato can. Will it be the 6-3 Texans or 7-2 Raiders leaving Mexico's capital with a win? Or could both tie like Washington and Cincinnati in London?

Oakland is favored by six for you betting types. This game's Over/Under is 45 points.

Because you played an awful team.

Just wrapped up...

Bulls:censored: officiating robbed the Texans of victory. We should have won 34-27, but end up failing 27-20. Same old "Always Hate Houston" song and dance when playing on ESPN/ABC. And that would-be extra score was on a non-reviewable play when DeAndre Hopkins stayed in bounds on a pass play but was called out. Maybe some of those refs should be exiled from the USA for this crap. The Texans could have won this game, but not everything was meant to be; and I take nothing away from the Raiders. This was just terrible.

Up next for the Texans... returning to the United States to take on the San Diego Chargers back home in Houston. Maybe we'll get better officials for this game.

It wasn't painful to watch...yeah, that's all I've got.

I've not watched a full game all year. When I do watch though, it's usually about the same as tonight's game with the exception of one unwatchable game, IIRC Cardinals v. Bengals (?), where there was a penalty on almost every mother:censored: play. I can't get into it, even Dak, Zeke, and the Cowboys. I know I'm probably the only one, but the season's been bland and a severe grind, and I just can't get engaged.

This is Week 12 now of the 2016 season of the National Football League. Welcome, everyone! Many people have had their say about Thursday NFL action. Well, a lot of us can agree only one Thursday matters most in the NFL- Thanksgiving. Here are some of the matches for this week:

* PIT Steelers at IND Colts (Thursday night game)
* SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL WK. 12: KC Chiefs at DEN Broncos
* MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL WK. 12: GB Packers at PHI Eagles

Enjoy some football this week. Surely enjoy your Thanksgiving football. Good luck to all of your favorite teams.

The Bills lost Woods to injury early and McCoy at the end of the first half too. That may have played a factor in the closeness as well.

Probably. Plus we didn't even have Sammy.

This team is just frustrating. When they win it sometimes feels like a loss.

Sadly this year, this team has the potential to go 10-6, but by the looks of the AFC would still miss the playoffs.
