I really don't want to watch Cincy's game today. This is gonna hurt.

Not going to lie- I'm pretty interested in the Browns/Titans game. It always seems like games involving two crap teams either result in a really good game or one team looking like the Patriots and the other team looking like a true dumpster fire with no in between.

Say what you want about the Lions, they know how to make it an interesting football game week after week.

I'm just happy that the Lions are at .500.

The Browns are still winless.

I really hope the Browns go 0-16 so the 2008 Lions have some company.
The Browns are probably the only team that could do as terrible as that roster did. I'm sure Matt Millen would be thrilled if they do because he will have company as the worst GM ever should they actually do it. Rod Marinelli will also probably be happy as well, but to be fair to him, Bill Belichick would have sucked with that 2008 team given how god awful they were.

I swear being a Bengals fan is like being in an abusive relationship.
We knew what the outcome would be before it even started. The zebras sure as hell didn't help things any. Every time the Bengals' defense finally stopped a drive, a flag would go flying, and an automatic first down would be granted. The defense couldn't get off the field and it wore them down. But that is just part of it. That red zone offense is absolutely atrocious. Four tries from the 1 yard line? Nope. Turnover on downs. Inside the 5? Still can't punch it in on three attempts. Hope for a field goal.

There were some truly awful calls out there today. I like how Blount can shove his hand under a face mask and INTO the helmet of a player after a play without a penalty. A flag was initially thrown for it, but they picked it back up, explaining it away. I guess grabbing the face mask is bad, but actually getting in under it is A'OK in the NFL's mind. Good to know. That along with the play where both the Patriots' offensive player and Bengals' defensive players (I can't remember who they were) grabbed each other's face masks as the Bengal was making the tackle, and ONLY the Bengal getting penalized for it...There were other plays as well that just left you scratching your head. Why was this player called? And why was there no call on this play? Even the commentators were confused as hell about what the refs were seeing and calling out there.

Speaking of horrid refereeing out there in the NFL today. It wasn't just the Bengals game. Possibly the most horrid call of the season came late in the Ravens/Giants game. Rodgers-Cromartie was IN FRONT of the receiver and actually in better position to catch a ball from Flacco than said receiver. Out comes the flag. Defensive pass interference! What the 🤬?!? The Ravens went on to punch it in with a short couple of yards between themselves and 6 points. Luckily Beckham (who I don't particularly like) made a crazy play to put the Giants back on top to win. Thank God. The other terrible officiating decision was the non-call near the end of the Falcons/Seahawks game. Sherman clearly grabbed Julio's arm on a long pass, but nothing was called. Panthers went on the win the game by 2.

I have a feeling there are going to be A LOT of fans turning off the TV Sundays now after this crapfest of officiating (if they haven't already). They're determining the outcome of these games instead of the players on the field.

The Dolphins got better just by cutting all our loser linemen. They didn't play great today but Pittsburgh really sucked it up out there. Can't believe we won.

Don't know what is wrong with Rodgers. Eddie Lacy was tearing it up even with being injured, but I still don't get it.

So... did you enjoy the Colts at Texans game tonight? We were down in the dumps as usual until the Texans finally woke the heck up. The Texans trailed terribly through three. Down 23-9, we managed to knock down two touchdowns and bring the game to a tie. Defense did its part to make sure Luck ran out of luck. After a beautiful pass to J. Strong, we knocked in the game-winning field goal in Overtime to win 26-23. Sixty minutes and four quarters didn't solve anything. It wasn't pretty, but dang- I'll take this win.

Up next for the Houston Texans... at Denver for Monday Night football next week. As for now... *happy dance* Come on, Texans Nation- join in on the dance!

*clears throat* Uh, congratulations to all other winners from this week, including Omnis' Miami Dolphins doubling up the Pittsburgh Steelers at home.

Jets at Cardinals TONIGHT!

Glendale, Arizona will be a No Fly Zone for one Monday night as the Arizona Cardinals look to ground the New York Jets. Tonight's game is East Meets West, as the 1-4 New York Jets of NFC East (currently 4th in the AFC East) will meet the 2-3 Arizona Cardinals of the NFC West (currently 3rd in the NFC West). So these teams are a combined 3-7 so far. So while this isn't a sexy matchup, it is still a good test for both teams. We'll see whether the Jets or Cardinals will improve their record with a win.

Arizona is favored by 7 tonight over the New York Jets. The Over/Under is 45 points.

Go enjoy some Monday Night Football if you'll be checking out this game.

Man! Former Houston Texan D.J. Swearinger put a BIG hit on Peake of NYJ. I liked Swearinger when he was with the Texans, but the only problem was that he could be a bit of a hothead. He still delivered for his Arizona Cardinals. Arizona cruised to a win over the New York Jets last night with a 28-3 win.

Let's start a new week of NFL Football, shall we? This is Week 7 of the 2016 season. We got action in the United States of America as well as in the United Kingdom this week. Here are some of the more interesting matches this week:

* THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL WK. 7: CHI Bears at GB Packers
* NFL IN LONDON: NYG Giants vs. LA Rams
* SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL WK. 7: SEA Seahawks at ARI Cardinals
* MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL WK. 7: HOU Texans at DEN Broncos

Can you believe the Minnesota Vikings are the only unbeaten team? Here we are fearing the Vikings would be screwed hard this season with what they've been through, and somehow... they're 5-0. But we'll see if they'll keep the good times rolling when they visit Philadelphia this Sunday. The Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys will have their Bye week this week.

Other than that... enjoy this new week of NFL football!

I get it, but as someone who was a fan through the "Bungle" years, even as painful as it can be at times, I like 10-6 seasons much better that 3-13 or 2-14.

I saw an article last week that said that viewership for NFL games this year is down 10% from last year, and the primetime games are down around 20%.

I don't see us making it to 10-6. Thankfully, I don't see any AFC North teams making 10-6

Those were some brutal years before Marvin came along. We got better and better under him, but he has never been able to get the team over the hump. I really wish we still had Mike Zimmer (preferably in Marvin's spot). :(

To be honest I wish we still had Gruden too.

According to Yahoo! Sports, there is a reason why less people are watching the NFL. That reason? Protests. Here's the article: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/fans-w...ite-protests-as-primary-reason-172059483.html

The protests in question relate to the whole Colin Kaepernick deal. Even I watch the NFL though I consider myself more of a college football fan, but I don't let things like politics or social trends drive my interest in a certain sport. What do you all think about this notion of politics and social issues being a factor to why not as many people are watching NFL football?

Week 7 begins tonight. The NFC North is in vogue tonight as the Chicago Bears will pay a visit to the Green Bay Packers. Time to see which of these two teams will get the win this Thursday night. The Bears are 1-5, and the Packers are 3-2.

I'm kind of disappointed with this London game. They aren't using the fun soccer camera angles that they usually use for them.
