FIA logic.
When you hit a driver 3 times clearly on purpose it's more than enough for a race ban.
This is way more illegal than Rossi - Marquez in MotoGp last year.

How is that 'clearly' on purpose? It could be on purpose and FIA are waiting till Russian GP is over to issue a punishment but it's more likely that the first hit damaged Vettels car and that caused him to rapidly drop speed. Don't forget that has happened to Narain some years back.

So, could someone confirm did Sainz Jr got stop and go or just time penalty ?
time penalty

It wasn't "clearly on purpose", T1 he outbraked himself and T3 Vettel said he was going slower, Kvyat didn't judge that. Both were absolutely his fault 100% but there is no logic to suggesting it was on purpose.
Hmm I'm not buying it, after what they said last race and expecially after the (noizy) rumors of Max replacing him no matter what he do, I think this is one of the many rage quit we will see this season. He will ruin other drivers race again.
He have nothing too lose he is like a "dead" man walking and now it's "killing" for sport.

Wow. You're rumored to get replaced and so you crash people out? Great.

I love McLaren, but if they get a double points finish and Alonso finishes in 6th, I will eat my shoe.

Alonso has turned up the engine and lapped at a 1:41.xxx and said on the radio; "I just wanted to have a bit of fun".

Nobody would do that considering the loss it causes you and the fact the FIA and the world are watching your every move.

HKS is a Vettel fanboy.
Or it could be Vettel himself.

Get the salt, and sauces ready....

Saw someone mention somewhere that there hadn't been a Putin sighting yet. He's here.

Yeah, and I'm not buying any of that nonsense either. This is real F1, not video games.

Everyone grabbing the shoes, but there's still the possibility that the GP2 engine might go boom with 4 laps remaining.

This is a great competitive race... if you ignore the bad party Mercedes.

No longer GP2, but a better than Renault.
