Did you watch the last race at Barber?
Yea Graham Rahal had to drive his you know what off to pass guys in fuel conservation mode with older tires with him being on new tires and full revs. The only caution was due to debris as well ;)

Hearing Scott Goodyear trying to explain how the LED light works should be worth a few good minutes of laughter.

That's a name we haven't heard from for a long time! Probably a good thing,

So there was passing, but let's complain anyway? And one caution is a "debris fest?" I just think it's too early to draw any conclusions, we've only had 3 1/2 races.

Considering teams were borrowing spare wings by round 2, it's hard to really not call it a debris fest

I may not get to see the Indianapolis Grand Prix deal around the Indy road course. This is what I usually like to call "May Madness," since IndyCar at Indy takes over May much like how tournament play takes over college basketball in March. I actually think it's great IndyCar races both the road course and the oval. The road course race takes nothing away from seeming like the IndyCar stars should only race the oval. If anything, this race basically helps generate interest in the Indy 500, not that any decent racing fan needs any hyping of Indianapolis or the Indy 500.

Good luck to all drivers and teams this weekend.

So what does this have to do with the Long Beach and Barber? This seems more like a manufacturing issue to me.

That's exactly what it was. Chevy and Honda had only made so many parts, and the drivers driving like Touring Car drivers hurt the situation because they were destroying the few amount of parts they already had. But everything seems resolved now durability wise. And as time goes by more parts will be available so by the end of the season everything should be better.

Townsend Bell's car for the Indy 500 is partially in tribute to Jeff Gordon.

I'm surprised he's in this race...

Edit: Graham Rahal's team gained 4 spots during that cycle of pitstops.

So with the GP behind them, who got the throw the first green flag of Official Indy 500 Practice onto the track today? :D

I imagine there's also a Indy 500 thread up and running now?
