Yep, time for me to start saving for Road America.

So long as they keep the tickets in the same range as the TUSCC race I'll be going as well.

RA 👍
Phoenix 👍
Mexico City 👍
Laguna 👍

Nascar has the March 11-13, 2016 listed as the probable date so they will want a couple of weeks separation. Easter is March 27 and the St.Pete round is likely moving up two weeks http://www.tampabay.com/news/busine...-2016-grand-prix-local-businesses-are/2239578 so I would look the first weekend in April at Phoenix.

My 2016 opening schedule
2-21 Mexico City
2-18 Laguna Seca
3-13 St.Pete
4-3 Phoenix
4-17 Long Beach (date is all but confirmed already)
4-24 Barber
5-8 Indy GP
5-29 Indy 500

then fill in these dates
Milwaukee
Detroit
Texas
Toronto
Road America
Iowa
Mid-Ohio
Sonoma
Boston
Fontana
Hopefully it is indeed autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez and not some street circuit in downtown. :)

Live coverage of the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio starts today at 1:30 PM EDT on CNBC!

Stupid start.

Sorry for double posting, but the crowds look absolutely great. Good to see.

Yeah it reminds me of the Cart days. Wilson with a ballsy pass and Sarah seems to know that Josef is all but gone from her team.

2016 will be something to see how everything moves.

Haven't heard anything negative about them so far.
There isn't a negative to them, I don't think. It helps the fans understand more of what's going on.

IndyCar doing something right? I can't believe it either.

One thing I would change is they need to add a bigger black background around the lights. Think about how the surround that fits around a stoplight that hangs over the street.

Not sure if anyone knows, or if TV explained it, but during pitstops, the LED indicator switches to a timer to display(counts from 1-99, resets to 0 and starts again for 100+) how long the car is in the pits.

I love that NSX pace car.

Vautier did a great job for who he's driving for. Good for Rahal. Ganassi under the hot seat. And Wilson did good. Still want to see Simona in next year though.

If Wilson doesn't get a full time drive with a performance like that, and others in the past, it has to be about money.

Sage Piquet Jr.👎

I don't know what's worse: That Indycar fans dislike Sage/TCGR enough that a spin any other rookie could make brings up talk about "Fixing" races, or that motorsport as a whole has gotten to the point where something like that has become expected from 3 car (Or more) teams...

I'm not even a fan of Karam, but I would wait until radio chatter or some other kind of PROOF shows up before throwing out comparisons to Piquet Jr. (Who's career has recovered quite nicely since that infamous accident).

Karam has done a good job this year of proving that he wasn't ready to be in the series at this level.

Number panel idea... why not put the LEDs on the wing endplates instead of the car #'s?

Because the wings need to be easily replaced. The LED panels would be in much higher danger on the wings. My only issue is that at certain times of daylight, it may get hard to see the LEDs on the panels, but that isn't easy to fix.

Rear wings generally aren't though, as they are so much closer to the rear suspension and generally a hit to the rear is the end of your day. Still I see your point.
