Franchitti has been penalized for impeding Power, so he's now credited with 13th.

I don't agree with it. Power wasn't going to make that pass work with how late he attempted it.

He CLEARLY moved inside after Power made the move. He touched him. It's black and white. Townsend Bell is explaining it right now.

That was a racing incident at best. A little bit of Dario moving over, a little bit of Will being overzealous. Should have been a no-call IMO, unless Dario moved twice, which I'm not sure about.

He barely moved 6 inches. It's BS.

I just watched it again. Dario moved a little bit in both directions, which I would be willing to bet is why it was called. They did say Race Control would be taking a dim view of that.

I don't recall the TV broadcast explaining what happened to Sato.

It might have been his gearbox, because the last time they showed him, he was in the pits and the rear wing assembly was off the car.

And Seb busts his 3rd place cup... How do you forgot to glue that thing down?

Didn't they reverse the penalty? Dario did nothing wrong, so it's good that keeps 3rd place.

Ha ha Darilol. Serves you right.

EDIT: RHR is a Dingus and Somehow, not only is Darilol allowed to blatantly block people, but he's allowed to ignore the 2-lap rule for the red tires. What a joke.

2 lap rule didnt apply to double-header races.Jon Beekuis confirmed that with race control after the race.

I enjoyed the 2 in T.O very much. I was up at the Turn 3 grandstand and was surprised at how little incidents occurred there. I enjoyed the standing start as well and I reckon Indycar should do more.

So for all the Indy car folks, next year I plan to go to a race BUT the kicker is our plane vouchers run out early in the season.

We really wanted to go to an oval race (Dad wants Texas, I want Iowa) but a road/street course isn't off at all either. So basically we are trying to figure out which would be a better place to go Alabama or St Pete race?

Try and go to the Indy 500 if possible, I did it this year and it was awesome!

Looks like Luca Filippi is jumping in too, once again giving the impression that Indycar is the place for everyone that doesn't make it to F1 and still wants to race open-wheel.

Lucas Luhr to drive for Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing at Sonoma. How cool is that? Luhr is one of my favourite drivers. :p

He sounds like he's from the planet Omicron Persei 8 :p

Live coverage of the Honda Indy 200 starts tomorrow at 3:00 PM EDT on NBC Sports Network!

Congratulations to Charlie Kimball on getting his first Indycar win at Mid-Ohio! What a satisfying result!

The time is coming, and I still haven't decided if I want to pull the trigger on Sonoma tickets... I could easily make the trip there and back to my hometown in a day, but having been there for an SCCA event, it didn't look spectator-friendly like Mazda Raceway was...
