Well, RHR just won now.

Not really concerned about him right now though.

They can't send the helicopter until he's stable, and twitter is reporting that the helicopter is leaving now.

Thing is, that should be a reason to stop the race unless they've got a helicopter to replace the one leaving already.
There was at least one other helicopter sitting there on the helipad.

Shame for Chaves! Looks like RHR will get it, unfortunately.

Hunter-Reay, Newgarden, Montoya, Power, Munoz, Sato, Pagenaud top 7.

RHR gets the win for Andretti. Happy that Andretti gets the win after that unfortunate accident.

I've got a 4 hour drive ahead of me so I will have no idea on what's going on. With that, I wish for the best possible outcome for Wilson.

Hope Wilson is alright, it would seem so though as they took their time getting him out of the track.

Sage Karam is being transported via ambulance to hospital to get further evaluation on a right foot injury.

In ways, a red flag seemed right. But so did finishing the race. With respect to those that think that stopping the race short would have been right, IndyCar did the right thing. They let the race come to a full 500 mile conclusion, and they didn't waste time. Everyone has treated it with class, and that's the most important thing. If they felt it was wrong they would have red flagged and that would be it. NBCSN treated the broadcast right. I have no complaints.

Wonder what INDY could do about that. Seems like a lot of foot injuries today
Nothing. They just add more padding which makes the cockpit hotter.
