NASCAR must be running the show today.I am so disappointed right now. It rains, and you delay the race? Have these race tracks even attempted to build them in a way so that they drain water off the course? Its like nobody races in anything heavier then a sprinkle anymore.

There was lightning and water running across the track. F1 doesn't even race when water is running across the track. The race is doing warm up laps behind the safety car now. Just wondering, if they have wet/rain tyres, why did they delay the race for rain so the track can dry? F1 doesn't delay a race unless it is pooring down. Its very illogical in my opinion and I feel sorry for the fans who only get to see an 1 3/4 hour long race.
I understand delaying the race for thunderstorms but it shouldn't take hours for a track to drain. It shows once again how poor quality engineering American road courses are compared to the far superior European and Asian tracks . When F1 races in Sepang (Malaysia), the track may have water running across it for less than an hour and they are back to racing. The US could learn from the rest of the world... I hope Juan Pablo wins! There was lightning and water running across the track. F1 doesn't even race when water is running across the track.
Different conditions cause different drying effects.I understand delaying the race for thunderstorms but it shouldn't take hours for a track to drain. It certainly depends on how much water came down as to how long there's standing water on the course. More water means more delayDifferent conditions cause different drying effects.

I don't know if the track is good enough for slick tires yet...
The humidity in Malaysia is ridiculous, so the track dries almost instantly. The humidity level in Alabama is nowhere near as high as in Malaysia. Not to mention that Sepang is a 100 million + dollar FIA grade 1 circuit, while Barber just isn't.I understand delaying the race for thunderstorms but it shouldn't take hours for a track to drain. It's such a shame we have to watch a little bit of racing instead of some proper adverts.
Stop/Go for Castroneves for entering the wrong pit box.
Uh... what?
