First crash, first safety car.

Hope car driver of 8 is fine.

Holy crap.

Half a brake disc on the grass.

Did it come from the car?

They topped up the #17. It can win due to minimum pit stops.

Well, finally there's a Safety Car but I don't think it's come at a good time for Courtney and Perkins.

And of course there's a lapped car between #88 and the rest of the field. Here's hoping the race spices up from here on in, otherwise I think we might have to run the race again next weekend to make up for it.

Edit: Nevermind, Blanchard's car has been moved.

You know this is a boring race when Mark Skaife can't even get excited about what's happening on track...

Dang. Nice move by Caruso.

Edit. Thought Pye did 6 stops. Dalberto did his minimum and came in. Then, at the yellow, they pitted Pye again.

Car 34 has blown its engine.

The 17 might have to stack as well.
Edit: Pye stayed out. He'll definitely have to come in.

Man, Moffat can't catch a break. Poor guy.

Heart skipped a beat when that happened. Thought it was McLaughlin's car.

Door stuck open on #88.

Driver door is open on car 88.

Dang, he managed to shut it...

See? Smart move by the 97. One less stop to do.

Possible light rain in 7 laps.

Apparently rain expected towards the end of the race. Only a light shower, but there is apparently another front behind it.

#3 stopped just before The Cutting. Safety Car out

Those guys in the DJR Team Penske garage making me regret getting hot chips last night and not this afternoon.

I knew they stuffed up. Pye will have to catch up with stops.

Caruso is going to get pinged.

So Caruso is likely getting a penalty for being alongside McLaughlin in the pits. Didn't really think there was much wrong there as they weren't making contact, but those are the rules. Caruso should be preparing for a trip down the pitlane again.

Brains pretty well rattled with all the strategy game. Did Pye possibly make a mistake? Because he seemed further back when he pitted.

Just getting to the business end of the race and my power goes out. Yay.

Sucked into the driver for not lifting and going to the back of the pit queue, now you do a drive through.

Just finished mine. Pretty damn tasty.

Well we got the safety car but it has only really resulted in strategy racing. I was hoping for some genuine battles on track.
