Oh, well. Should have stayed with Betty one more year. At least he won't have to double stack. He'll be so far down the grid, it won't matter.

Will's probably already looking for another seat next year. :sly:

Or... It could be because he was given a better offer elsewhere

Hard to say, again, referencing the Gen 2 regulations, a job as cashier at McDonalds would be a better offer...

He is moving to the U.S to work with Toyota and their motorsports program.

As the Speedcafe article says, he also played a part in the formation of the Gen 2 rules, I'd imagine if it wasn't for the new offer, he would've liked to stay around to see the results of Gen 2 first hand.

My dad and myself pretty much spent most of the Clipsal weekend talking with a couple who are friends with Tony Quinn (amongst a whole host of other very well known Australian motorsport personalities, as well as running cars in the ATCC way back when) and from what I gathered from them he's very proud of what he has in the Australian GT. I doubt he'll be letting go of it any time soon!

And he shouldn't. I can't imagine the amount of Sprint races V8SC would try to bill. Race in NZ? Oops, all of a sudden there is no budget. I don't see a benefit at all, in V8SC acquiring AGTC.

What liveries are DJR Penske running this weekend?

Thanks, anyone got any ideas on what LDM will run?

Will be revealed at the track this weekend, so I'd assume tomorrow for the set up day. The only word on the sponsor so far is that they have upgraded from being a smaller sponsor that was already with the team. Coca Cola would be really cool, but I have a feeling it will be Abro. Same liveries for both cars as well.

Black wheels win again(now, if DJRTP would get on the bandwagon). Talk about color "popping". Nice. Real nice.

Edit: I just noticed the color accents on the wheels. Too cool.

Bernie will make it happen, it will be a semi-transparent sticker that goes over the front of the drivers helmets. Thus it will be as if Lewis or Sebastian were driving with the wind blowing through their hair.*

*erase this as soon as possible, cause it's so asinine and crazy that Bernie may just pick it up as an option.

I'm waiting for LEDs to scroll across the front and back with voice activation. That ought to be fun.

If they do LEDs, they need to make it so the face of the driver changes expressions to represent his mood. I'm picturing some anime style facial expressions

Anyone else besides me think that Cam Waters will get a win this year? Or multiple? The kid is fast, and we're only two events into the season.

He'll one or two at most. I don't rate him super highly, but he's definitely not a bad driver either. Also in arguably the best car in the field, the FG X. Even Heimgartner was quick in that last year, had a couple of 3rd place qualifyings.
