I can't pick a winner here. So much strategy has to play out.

Slade has this. Plenty of space and fresh tyres.

Fab may be alright to grab 3rd.

Edit: Lowndes whoops.

If Fab was closer to Frosty, he might have been able to be right on Slade at the end.

Really weird. Wonder if Fab lost tyres. He caught Frosty. Just can't line Frosty up.

C'mon Fab. Get him.

Oh well.

Slade has this won. Two from two for the local team.

Who would have picked Tim Slade to be one of two people to have won more than one race in the opening 11 races. Another controlled and professional drive by Slade.

Slade purposely does a burnout and donut in the dirt saying "That's how we do it in Albury".

Also, nice sportsmanship by Moffat to push Rick Kelly back to the pitlane after Kelly ran out of fuel.

Phenomenal effort from Slade and the BJR crew this weekend.

P5 for Waters after losing so many spots at the start from being pushed around is good. As far as Nissan goes, strategy hurts again. 👎

Three wins for South Australian's this year. We're finally doing something worth while!

Nissan need a win to move up. 300 points to 10th. Lots of racing to go.

They needed one this weekend to help sway the contract extension in their favor.

I still think it will happen. It's not like the cars are slow or unreliable. Just got bit today by not picking someone to race. Had they followed Slade or Frosty. Even Coulthard, they would have had a chance.
I so concentrated on Rick, Caruso could have been further up had the strategy focused on the top three.

Still, that safety car was spot on for BJR. Couldn't have been better played.

No, just the drivers. Caruso is the only one who can carry through.

In my eyes, Caruso is not an exciting driver to watch. Not like when Moffat was running with him in the Hornets. He gets into trouble more than he should and he's inconsistent.

Is he worthy of the "ni"-"san"? I'm not convinced. Hopefully he can keep this momentum but, I can picture the 23 in the hands of a couple different drivers. McLaughlin being one.

None of them are. Dale Wood is just a seat-warmer, while the Kellys are apparently in denial about their position in the sport.

Makes me wonder if Nissan would throw GRM a lifeline.

I think thst would mean walking away from the Kellys entirely. Which would not be unwelcome, but you can bet that the Kellys would make a racket avout it.

Rick Kelly can still drive for sure. I'd rate him slightly over Caruso as number 1 Nissan driver.

Rick made a not so happy facebook post last night, I posted on it and he replied. 👍

I think the best thing for Nissan is for the Kelly's to downsize to 2 cars, and the other two should go to GRM. Without a doubt the thing hurting them the most from the start is trying to run a 4 car team. Keep the #15 and the #23, Todd can be Rick's enduro partner and Dale Wood is a seat warmer as stated above. Having that car run around at the back of the field does absolutely nothing but hurt their reputation.

Sounds like a good idea. Moffat knows the car, less stress from Todd, keeps Caruso focused on running with Rick and we can watch Scott show them how it's done. ;)

If they downsize to two cars, you can bet that they'll keep #7 and #15.

And then of course there is the question of who will run the other two cars.

I would think that Nissan would want one of their cars to remain #23. Now if that's the Kelly's or whoever takes the other two cars, who knows.

I doubt Todd or Rick are so attached to their numbers that they would let Nissan get away from them like that.

The point that I am trying to make is that the team hasn't been run like a factory team - Nissan are pretty much just funding the Kellys' continued belief that they are still at the top of Australian motorsport.

I'd be very happy to see GRM run Nissans, although I'm really hoping that Scott stays with them, as I think they were really helped along by him being such a good driver.

They receive factory funding so in my eyes that makes them a factory team, especially Caruso's car with the factory sponsorship and #23 on the sides.

Oh, it's a factory team in name ... but come on, having the Kellys, Caruso and Wood as their drivers is a bit like entering Formula One and insisting on having Jarno Trulli and Giancarlo Fisichella as your drivers.

I get it. The #23 should have gone to Rick as the "lead" driver. It's as if Caruso driving the 23, is an appendage.

The squad does appear better with Rick running red and silver on his car.
