Only just managed to catch up on the weekends racing. This year gets more and more surprising with every race or round having you wonder who else can possibly win, then it happens  welldone Slade, really happy for the guy and BJR. This year is awesome!

As for Nissan, Rick is still an excellent driver as is Caruso. Todd is a bit hit and miss so I think hes fine to keep his seat but Wood is just woeful. Obviously there with money. I cant really see them getting any better drivers apart from maybe McLaughlin. Its amazing what he manages to do with that Volvo

Virgin Supercars are like Indycar for the southern hemisphere. Fantastic racing on its day, but slowly dying due to poor financial climate, terrible administration, and general regulation mis-management.

He should've just kept it going for the sake of annoying Russell Ingall.

What if Steven Richards persuaded BMW to join VASC?

I wouldn't put it past him for trying to, but I can't see it getting anywhere unfortunately.

I'm really digging that M6 in all the events this weekend.

Yeah, I think it's going to take a lot more than just Steven Richards to persuade BMW to join the series...

Exactly. Besides why would he even try? He's 42yo, is a current Bathurst champ co-driving for one of the most competitive teams out there, has just setup for GT3 and, most importantly, doesn't have the coin to go buy a couple of RECs for a class that isn't 100% sure where it's going.

Hey, stop shattering my dreams. :p

Put him in a Nissan.
A young, talented and (relatively) popular driver whose presence would take the focus off the Kellys and how awesome they are?

Perish the thought!

Yeah, shame it won't happen.
And that's the problem - it should happen, but it won't because the Kellys are running Nissan as a vanity project, and not as an actual factory team.

You would think that the series organisers would have learned from the shambles in Austin, but no. Four short races that are over before they begin don't give a chance for any actual racing to happen, but it does give the audience a chance to see four "races", unaware that this sounds better than it actually is.

Good, looked like the narrow track wouldn't have allowed any passing.

Come back to the US please and thank you. 2-race format (Sat & Sun) with a top 10 shootout FTW.

they should try and add another nz race on that weekend. There's lots of good tracks to choose from

I just cant believe how difficult it seems for V8s to break into the grater Asia market, setting up Shanghai seemed to take far to long with the promoter, and that was a purpose built circuit, I say just sent them them to Macau,

Not interested in Hockenheim now that it's been butchered but, can you imagine the Supercars racing towards Eau Rouge on lap 1
This is a bit how it would look
