That's even better.... They didn't manage to get the new tires in time. They should be glad it's not going to be a wet race then.Their wets are still the old spec, new tires wont debut until Sebring.
I think they only catch fire sitting at a stoplight.
It looks like Pumpelly was in the car so I doubt it was driver error.
I read something about the loading on the banking as a reason. That's even better.... They didn't manage to get the new tires in time. They should be glad it's not going to be a wet race then.
VTEC kicked in YO.
Sounds like tire issues are a problem during this practice session.
Yeah. I hope Michelin takes over because they're the only one in the series right now that is competent enough to develop a tire that doesn't suck. The debris that was on track didn't help the tire situation, but the Contis were junk before the season started.Mostly because the inability of continental to develop a actual rain tire. Hopefully once DPi takes over, so does another tire company. You know you're 🤬 when Goodyear makes better rain tires then you.
#66 Ford GT topped second practice, with many of the spots held by GTLM again. Qualifying should be interesting.
4 p.m. eastern timeWhen is qualifying?
OH YES!4 p.m. eastern time
If the track doesn't dry out its looking that way. Second practice had only two P cars in the top 10 at the 6th and 8th position with the rest being all GTLM.OH YES!GTLM FOR POLE!

It also sounds like Daytona is getting worse so it seems very likely that a GTLM car could nab the pole today. If the track doesn't dry out its looking that way. Second practice had only two P cars in the top 10 at the 6th and 8th position with the rest being all GTLM.
Oh yes...muuuuhahahahhahahah.It also sounds like Daytona is getting worse so it seems very likely that a GTLM car could nab the pole today.
P are garbage in the rain because the Continental's they race on are terrible at best. The Michelin's absolutely annihilate them in the rain.Wait... Wouldn't the P class do well in the wet? Seeing as there's much more df than in the GT cars. Or are the Michelin wet tires that good?
The downforce would help if they didn't have what could only be described as GT6 Comfort Hard tires on them.Wait... Wouldn't the P class do well in the wet? Seeing as there's much more df than in the GT cars. Or are the Michelin wet tires that good?

It's like 1995 Le Mans all over again.
The downforce would help if they didn't have what could only be described as GT6 Comfort Hard tires on them. Also, GTLM's weigh more, which adds to the rain grip, in a way. Mechanical grip FTW.
But yeah Michelin just makes a world beating tire.
Today, and yes...I said it (the reference). Sue me.Today or tomorrow?
Ooop there it is! Reference of the race,

Corvette and Ford front row anybody?Well I'm going to be home in time for qualifying.
Stupid emoticons not working, Kudos on the reference, I found it rather amusing,
Corvette and Ford front row anybody?
I'll sadly miss it due to my night class...leave at 4:20 and don't get home til' 7. @-@
Extra time to practice his spinning technique that he will certainly use during the race. Why do you put Tracey Krohn in your car for qualifying?
