They didn't want to risk wrecking the car because it's very unstable in the rain. At least, that's what the IMSA announcers made it sound like when they talked about them not running.

They'll be starting from the rear, which is fitting for them.

Because they typically are at the back of the grid.

For some reason the GTLM class gets Michelin.

Probably because WEC uses Michelin, and the GTLM cars go to Le Mans. That's just my best guess though.
