I've suggested this before and since Universal Sports Network shutdown last year, I'll say it again. I think it would be a good idea for Comcast/NBC Universal to replace it with something called NBC Motors and have IMSA move over there.

Regarding motorsports, the nbc networks could then be used like this (including a hypothetical deal with IMSA, WEC, and Motor Trend On demand --the group that has Aussie V8, Blancpain, DTM, and PWC licenses):

•WTUSCC:
-NBC (Start and end of Rolex 24 and 12 hours of Sebring)
-NBCSN: Endurance Cup races and select short races.
-NBC Motors: late night coverage and used when NBCSN is full for endurance cup and short races; qualifying.

•Formula 1:
-NBC: Monaco, Canadian, US, and Mexican GPs.
-NBCSN: non-Tour de France time slot races, Practice 2, Qualifying.
-NBC motors: Tour de France time slot races, Practice 1 & 3.

•Indycar:
-NBCSN: All races.
-NBC Motors: Practice and qualifying.

•NASCAR:
-NBC: 7-9 races for sprint, 4-6 for xfinity
-NBCSN: rest of the sprint cup and xfintiy races
-NBC Motors: practice and qualifying, select races during Olympic years

•WEC:
-NBC: 24 Hours of Le Mans start, 1-hour highlights of other races.
-NBCSN: portions of Le Mans and other races.
-NBC motors: Qualifying and parts of races where NBCSN couldn't be used.

•Aussie V8's, Blancpain, DTM, PWC
-NBC: Bathrust 1000 (live Saturday night program), select other races
-NBCSN: select races
-NBC Motors: majority of races either live or same day tape delay.



The channel could also be used during the weekdays to do re-airs of the weekend races (something Faux poorly does with endurance races).

To keep this on-topic there were 72 laps of caution for the 736 lap race.
 
I can't even remember who was in the 48 at that time during the race. Them driving like it's the last lap of the race is pretty pathetic considering they weren't even halfway through the race at that point.

Well, now it's safe to say that "When Tracy Krohn spins the car" will certainly be a part of the 12 Hours of Sebring drinking game.

Someone needs to tell Flying Lizard and Tracy Krohn that an Audi R8 is not an Am Ferrari. They both missed the memo, and I'm not sure who missed it more.
 
I'm gonna guess the only reason he is there is because unfortunately like Maldonado with Lotus or Danica Patrick with SHR, it involves the ultimate tool of untalented morons: Money.

You know, considering that Audi was unusually clean for a car driven by Krohn (none of which can be said about Kogey in that video), I am starting to have a serious thinking about it.
 
Kogey probably would have shown us a new way to use an Audi R8 as a digger. :lol:
